- Description: Wishful Drinkin', the third album from the Drew Fish Band, was recorded and produced by five-time Grammy award winner, Adam Odor (known for his work with the Dixie Chicks, Pat Green and the Randy Rogers Band). Fish co-wrote all of the songs on the new record and found his way leaning toward a more traditional honky-tonk sound. The singer/songwriter co-wrote many of the tunes with hit songwriters, Tommy Connors, Roger Brown and Nashville Songwriters' Hall of Fame member Byron Hill. InchI wanted to expand the music I had been doing, and I think this new record shows growth. I wanted songs that sounded like me but not for all of them to sound alike,Inch he explained. InchI think we came up with some incredible songs, some great honky-tonk tunes, and I'm very excited for everyone to hear the album.Inch Fish has continued to grow throughout his career as a singer, entertainer and songwriter. He put many hours into pre-production before he, Odor and the musicians went into the studio. InchLone Star Saturday NightInch is a great example of what Fish considers to be true country. It's a honky-tonk tune with a driving rhythm that gets everyone in the mood to party. InchBetter PlaceInch was the first single released to radio and Fish's second to go to number one on the Texas Regional Radio Report. He and Byron wrote it in 30 minutes and immediately thought it should come out first because it is such a positive message song, something they thought people would appreciate hearing in this time of turmoil. Fish is especially proud of InchEvery Damn Time,Inch the first waltz he has ever recorded. It is a duet with Pam Tillis, which he still can't believe happened! Limited vinyl LP repressing in gatefold jacket. Off the Wall is the fifth solo studio album by Michael Jackson. It was released on August 10, 1979, following Jackson's critically well-received film performance in The Wiz. While working on that project, Jackson and Quincy Jones had become friends, and Jones agreed to work with Jackson on his next studio album. Recording sessions took place between December 1978 and June 1979 at Allen Zentz Recording, Westlake Recording Studios, and Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, California. Jackson collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Rod Temperton. Five singles were released from the album. It was released by Epic Records on November 30, 1982, as the follow-up to Jackson's critically and commercially successful 1979 album Off The Wall. Thriller explores similar genres to those of Off The Wall, including pop, post-disco, rock and funk. Recording sessions took place on April to November 1982 at Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles with a production budget of $750, 000, assisted by producer Quincy Jones. Seven singles were released from the album, all of which reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. In just over a year, Thriller became-and currently remains-the best-selling album of all time, with estimated sales of 65 million copies worldwide. It was released on August 31, 1987, nearly five years after Jackson's previous studio album, Thriller. Bad was recorded during the first half of 1987.
