GO-GO BOOTS builds on their roots with the old Muscle Shoals country-and-soul sound. Songwriters Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley have made an epic statement and what NPR Music says Inch very well might be their greatest album.Inch Drive-By Truckers are based in Athens, GA though two out of five current members (Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley) are originally from The Shoals region of Northern Alabama, and the band strongly identifies with Alabama. The band currently consists of Cooley (lead vocals, guitar, banjo), Hood (lead vocals, guitar), Brad Morgan (drums), Jay Gonzalez (keys/guitar/accordion/backing vocals) and Matt Patton (bass guitar).

Bassist, Shonna Tucker, flexes her songwriting muscles once again by contributing two original songs to the album. Brad Morgan (drums), John Neff (guitar/pedal steel) and Jay Gonzalez (keyboards) round out the current Drive-By Truckers lineup.

Welcome 2 Club XIII (the 14th DBT studio album) marks a sharp departure from the trenchant commentary of The Unraveling and The New OK (both released in 2020). The title track pays homage to the Muscle Shoals honky-tonk where founding members Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley got their start a concrete-floored dive lit like a disco with the nightly promise of penny beer. Much of the album serves as a free-flowing coming-of-age memoir with Hood singing at one point InchOur glory days did kinda suck.Inch
