The NVY-8PROXL-N4 is an 8" midrange loudspeaker from the DS18 NVY series, the brand's high-performance line. It handles 400 watts RMS and 800 watts peak at 4 ohms. Construction includes a water-resistant paper cone, a treated cloth surround and an aluminum basket. The motor uses a neodymium assembly. An IP65 rating protects the driver against water and dust in open-air installs on boats, side-by-sides and powersports vehicles. Sensitivity is rated at 97.5dB across a 60Hz to 18kHz response. Mounting requires a 7.2" / 183mm cutout and 3.36" / 85.5mm of depth, so confirm the opening before installing. Sold as a pair.
