Dudes - BLU-RAY

Pregnant after a one-night stand, Manhattan yoga teacher Eden (Ilana Glazer, who co-wrote) chose to go to term-and decided she'd do so by leaning on mom-of-two and lifelong bestie Dawn (Michelle Buteau). Their funny travails in prepping the immature Eden for single motherhood, and the toll the journey takes on their own relationship, inform Pamela Adlon's raunchy yet touching lady-buddy comedy; Hasan Minaj, John Carroll Lynch, Stephan James, Oliver Platt also star. 104 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

Back in Clinton Era L.A., 13-year-old Stevie (Sunny Suljic) wasn't getting much attention from his oft-absent single mom (Katherine Waterston), or much more than abuse from his moody, damaged big brother (Lucas Hedges). When he falls in with a pack of slightly older skateboard kids, he may find the acceptance he seeks-and maybe more trouble than he can deal with. Jonah Hill's trenchant debut as writer-director co-stars Na-kel Smith, Gio Galicia, Ryder McLaughlin, Olan Prenatt, Alexa Demie. 84 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

Pauly Shore (Encino Man) and Stephen Baldwin (The Usual Suspects) star as Bud Squirrel Macintosh and Doyle Stubs Johnson in the ultimate slacker comedy Bio-Dome. Mistaking an experimental site for a mall, Squirrel and Stubs enter in hopes of finding a bathroom and instead find themselves the unwitting participants in a biological research project and the antagonistic foils of the by-the-book lead scientist Dr. Faulkner (William Atherton, Die Hard).
