Duster - In Dreams - VINYL LP

After a 19-year hiatus, Duster cameback with their S/T chef-d'oeuvre in2019. Recorded in band member ClayParton's garage (aka Low Earth Orbit),the record bears all the hallmarks ofthe band's early work gaunt basslines, spindly guitars, and melancholy lyricsthat lurk in the background.

Culled from half a decade of home four-tracking, Remote Echoes is a hissy, crumbly, and ungrounded expression of Clay Parton and Canaan Amber's ongoing Duster project. A mix of cassette only demos released under the banners Christmas Dust and On The Dodge, this 14 track album also includes a bevy of previously unissued stragglers. Duster's unique blend of fuzzy guitars, bargain synths, muffled percussion, and hushed vocals anticipated chillwave, mumblecore, and corecore, elegantly illustrating the holy trinity of slacker vices cigarettes, coffee, and the weed supreme.

One of the top vocalists of the early disco movement, Carol Douglas jump started her career with the #2 Billboard disco chart hit InchDoctor's OrdersInch in 1974, followed up two years later with InchMidnight Love AffairInch which sailed to the coveted #1 slot on the Billboard disco chart. Presented here is a rare 1987 12Inch single of the track InchWhen Love Goes Wrong,Inch featuring a vocal version, vocal dub and a bonus instrumental dub. All selections have been newly remastered.
