Dvorak / Bartok / Slatkin / St Louis Sym Orch - Cello Cto - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Limited clear vinyl LP pressing. Genre-blurring alt disruptor Bilmuri is set to his new album KINDA HARD on Friday April 10th. The Columbus, OH singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer a.k.a. Johnny Franck stirs up the musical equivalent of a protein shake, blending a hearty helping of alternative rock, the right amount of metal, a dash of country twang, and whatever-else-is-in-the fridge at high speed. This 13-track album executive produced by John Franck and Jameson Roper features previously released singles InchMORE THAN HATEInch and InchHARD2TELL.Inch Without any surprise, the HOGMAN's new album serves up yet another sonic buffet that's meant to be devoured.

It is the part the cello must interpret by assuming or acquiring a human nature. Dvorák transforms it into a warm lyrical baritone. He repopulates it with harmonics and nuances. And he shows us that the best way to overcome cello InchlimitationsInch is none other than to transcend it. Dvorák turns the cello into a meta-cello. Just as in a Mephistophelian pact, he achieves the feat of InchanimatingInch it. And the soul is in the score. You have to know how to find it. No one better to do it than Adolfo Gutiérrez Arenas, from his sensitivity, spontaneity and affinity to an instrument he would never have wanted to explore if Bach and Dvorák had not persuaded him otherwise.
