Bought this as a rewards buy, and it was also on sale! Fits nicely under my desk in my home office and is working well so far. I have used it to shred both paper (up to six sheets) and credit cards. I like the fact that it directs you to put a little vegetable oil on some paper every once in a while and run it through the shredder to keep the blades in shape...easy!

I had a smaller shredder before and decided to try something thats bigger and more powerful...and boy am I happy with this! It shreds paper into small bits unlike smaller ones which shred them to strips. This one is a real value for money shredder for home use. Its a little noisy though but who cares if you are going to use it sparingly a few times a week?

I was able to score this on the daily deal. Great price! Overall, solid machine. It can actually do the rated number of sheets, credit card, etc. It is a bit loud, but pretty much all shredders are loud. I would buy this again.

I purchased this shredder to use for my home office. This shredder was a great product with affordable price. Haven't had any issues with low amounts of shredding. Can shred unopened envelopes with a couple pieces of paper inside.

We use this for shredding all the junk mail we get. Shreds the maximum amount (10 sheets I think) with no problem. I have used this to shred credit cards and CDs with no problem. And unless you're doing a tremendous amount of shredding in one sitting, the bucket capacity is enough that you're not constantly dumping it out. I also use a little garbage bag (the plastic bag the machine was actually packaged with) inside to help clean-out go a little quicker.

I needed a cd shredder because I have several old cd-r's that I use to listen to mixes of my music in the car. Now that my new car has a USB port I no longer burn as many CDs as I used to. This shredder quickly shreds paper and CDs, however beware of cd chips flying out of the shredder.

A good product for the money. It seems to handle a reasonable number of sheets without stalling out. Only problem is that the slot to insert the paper is awkward to put the paper in and often takes two hands to get it started. Handle to lift off the top is very convenient since the top with the motor is so heavy and the unit does not have a slide out bin for the paper 'chips'. The handle makes it easily manageable.

I was sent a clearly used machine. There were scuffs all over itt, some of the labels on the machine has been rubbed. I'm not even exaggerating when I say it looks like its been in use for years. Machine is loud , but beware you may not get a new machine if bought online here.

So far so good - works well. Ordered it on line and had it shipped to me. The only problem was the shipping box or lack thereof. It was only in the manufacturers box suitable for display on a store shelf. No outer packaging at all. Because of this when I received it, the basket the shredder sits in was chipped on one corner. This does not affect the operation at all so did send it back. Overall I am happy with it.

At this price point it was a great Value. Be aware that you do not get an industrial shredder here, the 10 sheet limit is a hard limit, you will quickly get into trouble if you try to push the envelope. ; ) The speed could be a but faster but other than that it's a great product.

I thought this product shreds only paper. Apparently, it also does credit card, cd, dvd and the likes. Can't beat the price. great product.

The unit is compact and a complete unit with both shredder and waste container. Has shredded everything we have tried to shred thus far.

This shredder is great for getting rid of papers and expired credit cards. Last shredder I had needed to have no more than 4 sheets fed at a time and now I can feed 10 sheets with ease. shredder head is very sturdy and the slot will not allow little fingers to fit into it so its safe around my grandkids. Paper receptacle is very good sized so emptying is not needed often. Very happy with the low cost also.

It is easy to use, and does a good job. Not too big, a good size for storing almost anywhere. The handle on the shredding mechanism is a plus for lifting it off the wastebasket, and because of its weight. Would prefer a longer cord, but overall, a good item for a reasonable price.

We got this shredder after our old (and admittedly pretty cheap) one died. This one seems to be sturdier stuff and does indeed handle 10 sheets at a time if you want to go that route. The handle on the top shredder part is a helpful feature when you need to empty the bin below.

Got my shredder in and started using it right away. This replaced one that had quite recently. It got the job done!

My objective was to replace a lessor quality unit with an efficient, reasonably priced shredder for routine daily use and occasional project shredding. This unit exceeds my expectations. The size, efficiency, cost, ease and convenience of using this shredder is what was being sought. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone for usage as I've described. It is unfortunate that routine shredding has become necessary of personal data to protect against identity theft. I'm confident this unit will provide the security I'm seeking for me and my family for many years.

This was an affordable. It was good at shredding paper & cards. I had a lot of paper to dispose of an after a while it overheated. However I let it cool down and it is still working. Overall I enjoy this device for the price.

So far so good. I can shred unopened envelopes with no problem. Great value. I have not run it for any extended length of time (like purging old bills and paper work) but this is performing as advertised. As with any shredder, feed the paper in carefully and as recommended and it looks like smooth sailing. Happy shredding!!!
