I bought three of these as stocking stuffers because at less than five bucks they were a steal. It came with the charger and the micro USB to charge it and/or charge micro USB devices. It charged in no time. It came in really handy a few times already. It's not enough juice to charge any of my devices to full capacity, but for the size and price of the item, I didn't really expect it to. It's enough power to give a decent charge and get you through an emergency. It does it's job perfectly.

This is a nice little booster pack at a reasonable price. With the only openings in the case a micro and full size USB port on one end, its very sleek and reasonably weatherproof. It also features two LED's that show the status of the unit.

I recommend this to people that play battery draining games or just use their phone heavily. Takes anout an hour to charge or less and gets your phone to nearly 100% in a single charge.

Small, convenient and affordable. I bought a few to ship to Africa for a few friends who dont have a steady power source.... after buying it works GREAT. I will buy more

I like the compact charger, that is easy to charge a phone or tablet. But I wish it had a larger charge. It's good for what it is.

Since downloading rebate apps on phone, my phone battery drains very-very fast. Prior to these apps, I didn't have to charge my phone, but every few days (seriously)!. Now that I have all these apps on my phone (ibotta, MobiSave, Shopkicks, SavingStar, Checkout51, BerryCart, KrazyCouponLady & several survey apps, as well) ...my battery barely makes it through 1/2 a day, if that! So I NEEDED something to extend it while I was out shopping or in general. I also use my phone a lot for taking PICS, which as you know also drains your battery. Then after shopping, I have to scan in bar codes on products & receipts by taking PICS to submit for these rebates, so more draining. Not to mention all the push-notifications that seem to be never-ending & ever-draining on my phone ...sigh, the joys of technology! ;-) It was through Shopkicks that I even saw the Dynex™ DX-2603 portable charger advertised for a sale price that I just couldn't pass up. I thought ...what have I got to lose! I knew I needed to do something! So I went to my local Best Buy, showed them the item, which thankfully they had in stock and made my purchase! I tell you what ...so far, so good! It has gotten me out of a crunch a few times, as my battery drains so fast! I haven't had it long enough to know "how long" it actually extends it, as I've never had to "fully charge" my cell phone with it (not even sure it will do that). However, it's made my cell last several hours until I was able to get home to recharge both cell & this charger. That's the important part, remembering to charge it AND bring it with me! My only "complaint" -though it may be the same with all external chargers, since I'm new to this is that it's a bit bulky & takes more space in the purse. Plus, when it's plugged into my phone, it does make it a little more "difficult" with using my phone, since it "dangles' from the bottom of it. I also wished the plug was a full sized to fit my S5, but I guess with so many types of phones out there, it's hard to make it work for all of them. What I mean by that is it only fit's into 1/2 of the plug. My phone has one plug, but it has a "divider" of sorts making one 1/2 larger than the other. Anyway, for the price, I can't complain too much, as it's saved me several times. I've only had it a few weeks now, as of 5/28/17, so unless it stops doing what it's doing so far I don't see the need to get another one that has more "power". So there you have it ...unless something changes drastically on its performance than this review will remain "as is"!

Are there better battery products on the market? Probably, if you're willing to pay more. But the truth is, these little Dynex units do everything I need them to do. They bail me out when I've let my phone battery run down. Why would I pay more for something else when the Dynex unit is already doing everything I need it to do? It holds a charge and gives me enough juice to hold me until I get a chance to plug in. I buy guitar picks by the gross and scatter them throughout the house so that I always have a pick when I need it. The great thing about these Dynex chargers is the fact that you can afford to buy a bunch of them and keep them in all your bags, vehicle glove boxes, emergency kits, etc. That way you always have one with you when you really need it. The most expensive, excellent emergency power source in the world won't do you a bit of good if it's in your other car or your other bag. Better to several less expensive models strategically distributed.

What a great portable charger for your electronic device. I have 4 of these chargers I have used for my cell phone. There are times when I am at a craft fair, that I do not have a place to plug in my phone or tablet when selling items. My phone is on for credit card charges, and at times towards the end of the day, its nice to have a charger handy just in case my battery wears down. I plug in the charger to a USB power source, let it fully charge (the red light turns blue), take the cable and battery source with me to my shows. Now I feel secure in that my phone has a back up charger. It will charge the phone, possibly giving it full power within an hour. Once the charger has lost its power, it then flashes quickly. That means the portable charger has lost its juice and will need to be charged. Its good to have a back up source when you are away from any power outlets, this portable charger works great.

I purchased two of these at a great Best Buy price. So far these chargers are ok however, no user info came with the chargers. A simple 'how to' blurb on the back of the package would have been helpful. I figured it out on my own then went online to confirm. You must charge the unit first using a PC by installing the smaller end of the cable into the charger and the USB side into your PC. The red light on the unit means its charging. When fully charged, the red light turns off. When using the charger to charge your device, you simply swap the cord by putting the USB end into the charger and the smaller end into your device. The blue light turns on indicating its charging your device.

This portable charger is great for older phones that don't have a huge battery, but for newer phones the charger will not give a complete charge. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and this portable charger will not charge my battery completely. The speed at which it charges is decent if you aren't using your phone at the same time otherwise it seems to charge pretty slow. That being said, if you are completely stranded somewhere and NEED an extra hour of usage, this portable charger may come in handy. However, my girlfriend owns a Metro PCS Galaxy phone. I'm not sure the model of the phone but it is an off brand of the Galaxy line. Her phone is much older and not as battery intensive as my phone and this charger will give her a full charge with no issues. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. This is a cheap portable charger, no frills. It will do its job but don't expect it to do it outstandingly well.
