I have this shredder for almost a month now and it is good for light shredding jobs such as your daily mail, (without the envelopes) small documents, and credit cards. Don't purchase for large shredding jobs because the machine only shreds 6 pages at a time, it overheats after 15 minutes of continuous use, and it can't handle some types of material. The price is good at just under 30 bucks and I recommend it!

Easy to use. However, the first load was crosscut in smaller pieces. After that the shreds came out like accordion. It jams a lot. Lucky me, I bought a year of insurance. I'm gonna need it.

The pieces aren't the tiniest but for the price you can't beat it. Has no problem with credit cards or staples. I'd say about 4 pages max at once without the motor sounding like it is struggling, but this is a cheaper shredder. For light home work it is a great product.

Does a good job. It is compact and has a good appearance. t also has the same specs as the insignia shreeder for $10.00 less. Both Dynex and Insignia are best buy brands. Not heavy duty but good for the house.

Runs fairly quiet, I like the window to see trash level, it does good job to shred junk mail, receipts, etc. Seems more powerful than the one I replaced, smaller basket so I'll empty it more often but is easier because the shredder top has a built in grip so can pick up with one hand. Good value for the money.

Compact shredder that has the power to do credit card and the listed number of pieces of paper along with easy to empty.

Pretty handy for the price. Its not heavy duty, and will overheat if used constantly (15 min of non stop shredding). But overall it's a decent buy.

Best to shred one or two sheets at once. Even then the blades will clog regularly. Also shreds credit cards.

I only needed a shredder for home use and to empty old files. It works fine, no problems. I shred no more than two pieces at one time and remove staples. Once doing old files it felt overheated, so I turned it off, emptied it and let it rest. The only drawback is it's best feature, it's small. It fits anywhere but you must empty it fairly often.

This shredder is replacing another Dynex shredder. The shredder isn't anything special to look at but it does the job which is what I am looking for. It's not too big and tucks nicely under my desk. I've had it for about a month now and so far no problems. If this is like the last Dynex shredder I had then I should have many years of use out of the new one.

Bought this a month ago and it works great! I use it twice a week. Have no problem shredding 6 sheets at a time or credit cards. Do not want to over work it, so I tend to do 2-3 sheets on average. It is for personal home use. It is strudy, the container is plastic and the top is plastic/metal but not too heavy. Overall a great price and purchase.

I bought the Dynex - 6-Sheet Crosscut Shredder when it went on sale in the Deal of the Day. The product met or exceeded my expectations, it is not very noisy, and does what it is advertised to do. In terms of quality, I have had Dynex products in the past, and they have had decent lifetime and performance, so that is why I decided to get this shredder.

I bought this shredder for shredding junk mail and have it for over four months now. It does its job well for the price. It said it can shred up to 6 sheets of paper. I found that it depends on the thickness of the paper. For regular printing paper, I can only do 4 or 5 sheets at a time. That's why I gave it a four star.

This can shred any paper easily and cleanly. It can shred cards as well. This was also inexpensive.

This item was a "Deal of the Day". Super-affordable; works great in the office. I don't think it is big/strong enough for commercial use.

Bought this shredder for light home use. So far it is doing the job as expected. The only drawback is it did overheat after trying to shred a larger amount of paperwork. Had to wait for it to cool and then could resume.

I don't use this often or for a heavy load. Works great! Small enough to be inconspicuous.

I have given this shredder a workout, so far so good. I needed to replace a small one that I had, and this one is a good purchase. It's not too heavy, takes many sheets at one time, is quiet and is easy to empty. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend this to anyone. Very happy with this shredder.

Shreds cards and paper. Good product, not heavy duty industrial strength. Just limit usage to two minutes at a time, as per instructions. Shuts down when over heated.

I was looking for not so big shredder and found this one. It's very convenient to use just one flaw about it, it is a little bit noisy. But it's a good shredder
