A: Yes, it fits perfectly with the Apple Smart Cover. This is my second one as my original was showing its age and I was gifting my original iPad Air to a family member as I had just upgraded to a new iPad 10.5. It protects the iPad Air and even though I have dropped it several times over the past few years, this protected the corners well and didn't add any substantial weight. I highly recommend this case.
