​I purchased the Dyson Airstrait at Best Buy, and honestly, it has completely changed my styling routine. What impressed me the most is its ability to straighten hair directly from wet using just air and no extreme heat plates. This has saved me so much time in the mornings since it combines drying and straightening into one single step. ​The Ceramic Pink/Rose Gold design is absolutely beautiful and elegant. I’ve been a loyal Dyson user for years, and after owning the Dyson Airwrap, I was excited to try the Dyson Airstrait—and I have to say, it completely exceeded my expectations! If you love wearing your hair straight, this is hands down the better choice over the Airwrap. I have fo say I own many Dayson products; from vacuums to Airwrap, flat iron and now this The Dyson Airstrait. Out of all, this is truly the best product that dries and straightens hair at the same time. The flat iron was the worst product Dyson made. Hardly ever used it. This product replaces all other products. For me, no vacuum would replace the Dyson vacuum and I tried many. This new product for hair is high level technology and honestly those plates are not hot like iron and all you feel is warm air against your hair. At first I was skeptical and got limited edition pink. It felt bit heavy, not ergonomic and always worry I would scratch the light color. I returned and wanted again to see if I would be happy with my Airwrap brush and GHD. It took so much time between two products and my hair felt flat somewhat frizzy using regular flat iron. Now I am glad I returned pink limited Edition Airstrait and instead got silver (nicely smooth) Airstrait for $100 less at Best Buy on sale. I love my 12 mo financing option, for all products I buy and pay off early or timely. Now that I have tested this product and compared, it is a keeper. My hair has more volume than using any other product. My hair is weavy and gets somwhar curly, so I don’t alwuas find time to dry it and do all the work but using this Dyson product makes it easier, faster and worth it. I have salon ready straight hair in minutes and bonus is that does not pull your hair, does not burn and does it all at once. I was a skeptic at first. Not anymore. The charger is little heavy like laptop charger and I wish we could use this product anywhere. It is not as ergonomic but your beautiful hair will remain as beautifully done for few days or so. Owning Dyson products for years, not a single one broke down. I hope this is long lasting too. It should be! Now I want to sale their other products I own and I no longer need.

First of all, the hair blower and straightener is indeed a pricey investment. However, I find it absolutely worth the cost because it effectively tames and straightens my hair like never before! Previously, with my old, less expensive hair dryer, it took quite a bit of time just to dry my hair, leaving me with no time to straighten it with an iron. Most days, I would end up just brushing it out after drying, which by day's end left my hair frizzy and unkempt. Enter the Dyson Airstrait—OMG, it's a game changer! It significantly reduces the time needed to dry and straighten my hair. Plus, my hair stays straight all day long, even on windy days! I've even received compliments from friends and colleagues, asking if I had just come from a professional salon. The machine's quality is outstanding, despite being made of plastic, and it's also lightweight, so it doesn't tire out my hand at all! If you’re only concern of straightening your hair, then this is the machine for you! A MUST BUY!!!

Works better than I expected! I have very thick coarse and frizzy hair and almost always have to use a flat iron to achieve the sleek look. After using this several times, here are my findings on the best way to use this: - use the cool function! After drying a section of your hair and it is bone dry, go back through immediately after and use the cool function at least 2 times. It’ll set your style you just did and prevent creasing, “puffing” up of sections and frizz. - I feel like the clamping could be slightly improved. I’ve learned to use my other hand to put towards the top and clamp down with 2 hands to get the best effect and ensure all strands are getting smoothed out and dry. - use thermal product & something with high shine to get the best results. Put it in your wet hair and then dry using this. - only improvement I would say this needs is to be a little lighter if possible. My air wrap doesn’t weigh this much but when I use this, my hands are cramping 1/2 way through drying my hair cause of the clamping motion and weight of the dryer. Other than that it’s a keeper!

This is some sorcery. From sopping wet to stick straight in 3 passes. Early 2000s me who used to have to sit in the salon chair for an hour and a half to get my hair straight, was loosing my mind over how cool this technology is! But I had to be fair and realistic with myself because this is a $500 hair tool. PROS: 1- It was QUIET Compared to other hair tools (*cough cough* the flex style) this was a manageable level of noise. 2 - It was FAST. Literally two passes on wet mode, and one pass on dry mode. Like 23 seconds per section and I am half black. Mind blowing. 3 - It was sleek and stylish. Literally everyone wanted to look at it when I got it, it’s just so cool looking. 4 - it was easier to switch between wet and dry modes than I thought it would be. — Now for the CONS: 1 - LITERALLY the ONLY thing you can do with this is get your hair stick straight. 2 - This did not give me a sleek straightener look. My hair was still fluffy and this DOES have tiny, very thing hot plates on the opposite side of the blow dryer end which I somehow managed to touch by accident and burn myself. 3 - Made my hair SO dry. My ends felt disastrous. Like super dry and very brittle to the point where it was concerning. I have never felt that with any other hair tool. 4 - it is rather bulky with the cord but it’s pretty powerful so it made sense that it had a big cord. But it is also pretty wide and a little hard to maneuver in certain spots because of how wide it is. —- BOTTOM LINE: it was a no go for me because of the fact that it literally can only make your hair pencil straight and still left my hair fluffy. (Some people might like that it gives them volume tho - I just prefer a very sleek “silk pressed” look ) And 2 because of how dry and brittle my ends felt. HAIR TYPE — if you have medium to fine hair and like your hair stick straight this is going to be AMAZING for you. But if you have course thick hair, this may not be the best tool for you either. Also, when Dyson makes a thinner version of this, it will be better.

I have owned several Dyson products and I am skeptical on having the airstrait. Well we couldn’t deny that’s a fact that Dyson’s airstrait is the best in the market. It’s just that hefty price along with it. With Best Buy I got it on promotion. Definitely Ceramic pink is either out of stock or not on sale. I love it that it does lives up to its promises. But I’m afraid that I might stain it with makeup or might fall but I’m loving it. I sure did invest and I know this will be for a long time use. Also recommend to use heat spray as everyone would say. And a good brush and comb too.

I have long curly hair and usually it takes me up to 3 hours to do my hair with the traditional methods. Since getting this it has cut my time in half. I love the results and beyond less damage is done to my hair. I would reccomend this to anyone! Especially since I was able to get it directly to my front door in 2 days.

I don’t usually write reviews unless its something extraordinary, like this product! I’m a blonde, naturally curly hair gal! This product does exactly what it says! Ive tried on both the wet/dry and the fully dry, its amazing! My hair feels so soft and healthy after, unlike when i do my hair with a blow dryer and iron, which this product elimates both of those! Slow passes are the key to the best outcome! Definitely recommend.

I love my Dyson ! It looks elegant, feels solid, and gives amazing results. My hair is color-treated and a bit frizzy, but this flat iron leaves it shiny, smooth, and soft. among all the dyson hair dryer i tried, this is the one i really love. best result after using it on wet hair. i have thick and frizzy hair. using this product on my wet hair, it stays straight and shinny. time saver too if ur in a hurry.

I love this two in one straightener. I have fine wavy hair and it took me about 20 minutes to dry and straighten. I’ve only used it twice and without watching the video and realized you want to hold it so the air is going away from your scalp or your hair will most likely frizz. Mine has some frizz as I originally had the straightner blades flipped the wrong way. I did use a little hair protector cream too.
