I made my purchase based on other glowing reviews but had my doubts. No more. This fan is great! It delivers a strong flow of cooling and circulating air without taking up much space. I use it to cool off when I sleep. Works like a charm! It even delivers what I consider to be soothing white noise. Two minor drawbacks that aren't dealbreakers for me: 1) The speed indicator at the base of the fan is bright, which is a minor annoyance while trying to sleep in a darkened room. My workaround is to block the light with an object, which also, unfortunately, blocks the remote control sensor. I wish there was a feature to dim or turn off the indicator. 2) As others have noted, the remote sensor can be hard to connect with since it's at the base of the fan. This poses challenges if the fan is on the floor. Again, these aren't dealbreakers in my book. Hands down, this is the best fan I've ever owned! A functional and decorative piece!

I purchased the Dyson AM07 Tower Fan to replace an older tower fan. The fan's noise level was very important to me. My older fan, though somewhat low-level noise, does not compare to the Dyson. The safety and cleanliness of the fan were also deciding factor in my purchase. Since the fan is so lightweight, I can move it to where I am at that moment, though I purchased it primarily for the bedroom. Just out of the box, I had it snapped together in a couple of minutes. An additional plus is the magnetic remote. Needless to say, I am one happy fan owner. Thank you Dyson!

After a year of purchasing,I’d say it worth every penny !! First of all its definitely the design caught my eyes in the first place . The wind is natural and cool down the whole room real quick ,and it’s quiet . Most importantly it’s easy to clean ,I was so tired of cleaning the traditional fan ,all those work of taking things apart now instead of just a easy wipe down .

Quiet and powerful but lightweight enough to be easily moved as needed. Elegant looking so it can stay out between uses. Remote control is a nice convenience. Worth what you pay but far less than one would expect for a Dyson product.

You wont need to turn this on too high befire getting too cold. Dyson makes the best A/C fans. I have been so impressed with the quality and quietness of this unit. It would be a mistake to buy any other brand.

Great little fan, that outputs quite the flow of air. I use it in my office to push heat or AC into my office from the main area and it works great! Sleek appearance and small footprint so it doesn't interfere with office aesthetics or office space.

Have been using this cool fan for a month now. Seems to be working well at night providing a cool breeze and oscillating at about 180 degrees. The shape of the fan is modern and fits in with the decor. The white color looks fresh and bright. Very happy with the purchase!

Best tower fan I’ve ever used! The pressure, range and coverage is incredible and the coolness it provides. Not sure how it produces cooler air than other fans but I’m glad does.

It works perfectly, as I expected. It's an upgrade from my older Dyson fan because it's much sturdier and not top heavy. The remote works well and the fan's design still "trips out" the uninitiated

As with pretty much all Dyson items, this Dyson Cool Tower Fan AM07 (White/Silver) is very easy to assemble, the design is simply beautiful, and it complements living room furniture (or, in my case, my Bowers & Wilkins speakers) nicely. As you can see from the picture, the fan is just about the same height as my B&W 603 S2 speakers. Although the fan is pretty lightweight, I feel it's still sturdy enough and does not easily tip over. Dyson advises though to always carry the fan by holding the base and not by holding the loop amplifier. The electronic display on the base of the fan shows the fan speed in white color. Due to the fan being blade free, it's totally safe for dogs to stick their nose in the loop amplifier (and of course, it's also totally safe for kids to move their hands through it). No blades. Just can't beat that! The remote control is the only way to fully operate and control the fan from selecting the desired fan speed (between 1 - 10) to turning on/off the smooth oscillation feature for wider area cooling, and setting the timer - you can program it to run for 15 minutes up to 9 hours. The base only allows you to turn the fan on and off at the previously selected level. As such, to avoid losing your remote control, best always attach the remote to the top of the loop amplifier to store it after using the fan. It attaches to it magnetically. The remote's battery is type CR2032, also known as a 'Button Cell' and it appears it's easily replaceable. I found that you need to point the remote toward the base for it to work most responsively. At low fan speeds, it runs surprisingly quiet but gets more audible especially when running at at speeds higher than 8 (level 10 is the max). I want to say you can already achieve a very powerful airflow at level 5 along with a cooling effect that you can feel, which is what I have run the fan most of the time. At lower-level fan speeds, for example, level 2 or 3, it should be fine to run it in a bedroom at night without being bothered by the noise while still enjoying a good-enough breeze. I am giving this fan a well-deserved 5 stars, and can very highly recommend it. You can't go wrong with this one. P.S. Please note that even though it says it's a cooling fan, it is not air-conditioning the air. It's not filtering the air either, and as such, there is no need to replace air filters.

I bought this fan because it was on a good sale and it looks rad. Setup is pretty easy, and operation is also easy especially with the included remote. However, it's not good at being a fan. I had a (traditional style) $100 Better Homes and Gardens fan in my room previously, and it pushes much more air volume, covers a much wider distance, is much quieter, and had a more appealing sound profile. IMHO, there are only 2 reasons to get this fan. 1: It looks cool. 2: You need air to be pushed to a specific location without disturbing too much of the surrounding area. I still use it because I paid for it, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I like, and I wouldn't buy it again even if I got it for the same discounted price.
