Double vinyl LP pressing in gatefold sleeve including . 2015 from the Minneapolis rapper/producer. Ecid has been operating on the fringes of rap music for close to a decade, with no co-signer or angel investor, just a passion for contributing to the ever changing hip-hop landscape. His first songs were cut using a dual tape deck and a stack of gangster rap instrumentals. Now he single-handedly orchestrates every detail of his songs. The beats are ambitious, soaked in a monstrous, bombastic glory with moments of blissful minimalism that prepare you for the next smile-inducing surprise. This sound was achieved with expertly plucked samples, analog synths, household percussion, and a team of adventurous musicians that understood his sonic vision. Having formally been part of a long term music project Tell a Vision became a new project in 2022 with a revitalized direction, a rebirth. Minneapolis-made, Brooklyn-based Rapper/Producer, Ecid has been creating his own brand of experimental HipHop for a decade and a half now. From the 2006 cult favorite-collaborative effort, Saturday Morning Soundtrack to 2012's acclaimed solo , Werewolf Hologram, Ecid has proven time and time again to be an artist hell bent on steady mutation. His latest offering, Zen Repair is now available on limited edition Blue Seaglass colored vinyl. Included is an 11x17 poster and sticker with artwork by Andy McAlpine and Derek Weisberg.
