Electric Enemy - Electric Enemy - Orange - VINYL LP

Limited vinyl LP pressing of this 2000 album from the death metal band. Gateways To Annihilation is the sixth studio album by Morbid Angel. This album saw a change in musical style as the speed-laden intensity of the previous album Formulas Fatal to the Flesh was abandoned for a slower, more droning style, reminiscent of Blessed Are the Sick. This is also the first album in which Steve Tucker contributed lyrics and music to the band. Dan Seagrave painted the album cover. This marks the first Morbid Angel album cover he had painted since Altars of Madness. Morbid Angel is based in Tampa, Florida. The band's songs are complex in arrangement, owing to the considerable technical skills of both guitarist Trey Azagthoth as well as drummer Pete Sandoval, the latter of whom also played in the grindcore band Terrorizer. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Morbid Angel is the third best-selling death metal band in the United States. Album Tracks 1. Kawazu 2. Summoning Redemption 3. Ageless Still I Am 4. He Who Sleeps 5. LP (140g coloured orange) with inlay card. Electric Enemy appeal to everyone from the Gen-Z who has begun to search for her way in life to the long-time Brit-rock fan who has heard almost everything before; those who demand from artists not only quality and authenticity, but songs that can soundtrack their lives. Some say self-titled debut albums are the best. Alright then here we go! Sitting somewhere between the classic rock of the Foo Fighters with a touch of Oasis, and newer acts like Des Rocs, Muse and Royal Blood, Electric Enemy are setting out to make rock music with a mission. Combining introspective lyrics with compelling melodies and dynamic musicianship, the band has cracked a formula that has made them a need-to-know act in the UK and beyond. BBC Radio 1 host Jack Saunders noted, “There’s something in the water here” - and he's right. 13 all killers no fillers on this extraordinary album. Tracklist 01. Therapy 02. Bleed Me Dry 03.
