Electric Six - I Shall Exterminate Everything Around Me That Restricts Me From Being The Master - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Electric Six is done trying to not sound like their first record Fire, and wants to go home, but can never completely go home. Electric Six wants big loud guitars and fuzz basses intertwined with the occasional r&b jam. With their sixth album, KILL, they prove they can still sound like Fire, but it's sprinkled it with what they've learned. They can go back to the skull-crushing guitars and disco grooves, but they will be cooked in an avant-garde reduction sauce. KILL doesn't rest on any laurels. KILL seeks to boldly and bloodily go where it can go where no Electric Six has gone before.

The Predator Nominate EP is a celebration of what was to come before the tragic exit of ringleader/singer Tim Taylor. Listen to these realized demos and imagine what only could have been the confident seed of what the group might be capable of in this future century. The world will never truly know.

Recorded on two nights at First Avenue in Minneapolis and the Double Door in Chicago, this is the quintessential Electric Six live set, featuring selections from each of their eight studio albums. This is a painstakingly accurate representation of an E6 show, packaged, duplicated, and mass-produced for the first time. It is the band's first and only live record, available this October only on Metropolis Records.
