Customers find value in the ease of use of the 8.0 Cu. Ft. Stackable Front Load Electric Dryer with Steam and Predictive Dry. However, a recurring negative comment centers around the lint trap, with some users reporting issues with it detaching and potentially damaging the dryer. The lint trap's design is a significant point of concern for customers. Some users also mentioned that the dryer doesn't completely dry all items.

So far so good. I really love the settings, especially the eco mode. It's gentle on our clothes and pretty quiet.

We're having a big problem with the lint trap coming out while drying. First time we figured it was our mistake for not pushing the lint trap fully in place (we thought we did). That cost us 2 socks that were caught in the blower. 2nd time it happened I knew we were being careful to make sure the lint trap was fully seated. Lost sock #3. I pulled the front off and placed a screen in front of the blower. The lint trap came out again. 3rd time in 3 weekends of drying, but at least I didn’t lose any more clothes due to the screen I installed. It seems to happen most often with stretchy yoga style pants. I caught it on video. Not that great of video, but I still got it. Electrolux did send a repair tech to have a look but literally all they said was use a laundry bag. When I explained the Maytags and Samsungs I had in the past didn't have this problem he repeated that we should use a laundry bag. Personally I think Electrolux should replace the door with one shaped like the washer. That would fix the problem. With all that said, the first 3 weeks were problematic. The past few weeks have been without incident. One last note, I noticed the issue with lint build up on the dryer seal as the Last1IHope reviewer, but with other issue I figured that waa too small to complain about.

Electrolux Dryer caught fire. Control board and connectors burned out. Could have burned my house down. Anyone else have this issue? Electrolux would not cover parts and service. Only 1 year warranty, we have had for 3 years.
