Elettra Storm - Powerlords - VINYL LP

Limited red colored vinyl LP pressing. Elettra Storm took the power metal scene by... storm with the flawless 2024's debut album InchPowerlordsInch. Now they made a huge step forward, though, and the sound of InchEvertaleInch is even more defined and cohesive. Every band's member had the chance to get the spotlight with his own style and personality, and the songs are more technical some carry a proggy flavor, some other bring on the table the fury of speed power metal - but all of them are direct and catchy at the same time, with soaring melodies that will linger in the brain since the first spin and another stellar performance by charismatic frontwoman Crystal Emiliani. Lyrically-wise, InchEvertaleInch is a chest of wonders - like Micheal Ende's InchNeverending StoryInch, this record is a thrilling celebration of storytelling each song tells it's own story indeed, and the listener will find the drama of war, the desire for revenge, the journey of a hero, the mysteries of the ancient ones and much more.

Deep Woods Revival is the second album by Portland family performer Red Yarn. He delves deeper into the American folk canon, weaving an original narrative and lyrics into traditional animal folksongs. Recorded at Type Foundry Studios with renowned producer Adam Selzer, a band of local luminaries, and a choir of friends, Deep Woods Revival is a rich and lively folk-rock song cycle about childhood freedom and discovery in the wilderness.
