Overall excellent value! The color is rich and vivid. Nice contrast ratio. The lens shift feature works great with ceiling mount application. Just be sure to level the projector properly and the lens shift work well. Love the overall picture.

I read the reviews on this and was still reluctant to purchase it. Screens are high-priced items and I don't casually gamble nearly $400 with tax. I had been using a budget motorized screen and the edges had curled until it was it impossible not to notice. It being my first screen I had nothing to compare it to and thought the image quality was very good if you could overlook the curling and ripples. This Elite screen surpasses the old one in every way in terms of picture quality: cleaner, better contrast, perfectly flat and an overscan border of black velvet that really works. It is not particularly difficult to assemble but it does take time and nice clear area to work in. I have the 120" screen, it requires some real estate to build it in. You will need to lay down something to protect the screen during assembly. Don't lay it on a dirty rug or one with animal hair. It does come wrapped with protective paper and foam but I recommend large lint-free sheets to lay under it. I put it together myself but a few extras hands never hurts. Pay special attention to the corners in order to get them square, there is a tendency for them to mate up out of alignment. They provide a small hammer and screwdriver so use the hammer to keep the corners square. Stretching the screen is scary but follow the directions and keep the ribbed edge of the screen in the grove on the inside of the frame. Use all the provided retaining clips, it needs them to stay in place. Mine does not have a hint of wrinkling so it is possible to a good job even by yourself. The cross brace in the back is important and the instructions aren't completely clear so take your time and keep the ribbed portion facing up or away from the screen backing. Also be careful not to lean the completed screen against anything that might damage it. Make sure the frame is the only thing that touches when leaning it against the wall while you do other things. When hanging it, the bottom retaining clip can be a bit of guessing game to get in the right place. Hang the screen on the upper clips then find the right place for the bottom clip. It would be good to have two people hold the screen while you install the lower clip. Leave room between the upper clips and the edges of the frame, at least a foot in on either side, so you can slide the screen horizontally for perfect positioning. If you can live with a permanent screen on the wall this one is nice. From the reviews I've read and the evidence of my own eyes this is one of the best available at a reasonable price. Highly recommended, just take your time.

This is a great screen. The gain is excellent. However be prepared for a lengthy and difficult assembly that requires two people. The screen has to be stretched taut. So there over 100 tiny springs that must be attached one by one through tiny holes that are not reinforced. The center bar has to be literally hammered into place. It took us nearly four hours to complete. Then you must carefully mount the screen hangers which are tiny metal plates. They could have done better than that for an expensive screen. But as I have mentioned the screen itself is amazing.

This is a beautiful screen it stretches nice, but I have to say the quality of the screen is a little thinner that I would like. It could definitely tear if something happen to hit it.. my last screen the material was so thick it was rather hard to stretch on to the frame. I much rather have that material than this.. I can't tell you how many balls hit that screen from my kids without damaging it. Needless to say no toys are allowed in the theater room any longer. I guess for the price it is a good buy. I would recommend this to anyone but with caution. No objects should hit it. It will tear!! But it is a beautiful picture!! Of course don't go cheap on your projector. Spend the money..

Read a lot of reviews before jumped in . I purchased the 120 inch sable frame with cinegrey 3d. The image looks really good with the lights on or some light coming in. It looks excellent with the lights off. I commented that our screen looks better than the Screen Innovations model at the best buy magnolia theater. Assembly and mounting are pretty simple, although I can see how it could be tricky for a few people. Download the manual from the Elite website. The screen will stretch and you will probably want help mounting the wall.brackets and hanging the screen. For the money this thing really looks great though.

Really nice screen once you put it together. My wife and I did in about 45 min. Saved a lot considering the big screen store wanted to charge over 1k for a screen. Paired with the Epson 5030 projector the picture quality is better than any theatre I've been too

This screen is great. I first purchased a pull down screen but started to see wrinkling on the corner immediately. Returned it and got this screen. Couldn't be happier! Great quality

Screen was fairly easy to assemble. It was a little difficult to mount it to the wall on the two lower brackets but with a little pulling pushing and prodding it worked. Picture from Epson 5050ub projector looks great.

We had built a new home and built a theater room for our family to enjoy. when we built we had already gone 350,000 over our budget, so we bought a pull down screen from best buy. We knew we wanted to purchase a fixed screen, and we purchased this one after reading other reviews on best buy and other websites. We are so happy that we made the decision to purchase this screen, we would buy again if we had to.

Love the screen although I think the way it is secured to the wall should be better (it literal hangs on 2 brackets like a picture frame). If you have curious children or pets you might want to explore other install methods. Best Buy is by no means custom install. They seem cookie cut and looking for what's easiest to do. So don't expect any suggestions for a more secure custom screen install on this elite screen. Best Buy will just try to sell you a $2000 screen with better mounting. If your a DIY kind of person then you should be able to avoid this.

This screen(fixed to wall) really surprised me with the excellent image quality and it gives the real theater effect while watching movies in my home theater. This comes with very easy installation and mounting, I could complete this along with my friend.

My experience with screens made me skeptical of this item but it was straightforward to build and hang for a light-duty DIYer. More importantly, the image projected on it has been great and while the technology has a significant hand in that image, a lesser screen would have a visible impact.
