Joined at times by digital percussionist Dolphie Stein, the music throws itself against itself without loyalty to genre or form, mashing granular particles into a tremulous spectrum of soundwalls, transitions, noise, distortions, and the occasional clearing.As close to live improvisation as one can get in a multitrack studio setting, LUYU takes generative techniques and drops them into short-form events by building it's soundstage in thickets of shifting elements, collapsing phrases, broken signatures, and implied patterns. An outlier in Leimer's catalog of general stillness and subtle detail, LUYU revels in the bare sound of things usually hidden in the mix.Kerry Leimer founded Palace Of Lights in 1979. Leimer's work has also been issued by Abstrakce, Autumn, First Terrace, Les Giants, Invisible Inc., Origin Peoples and RVNG. His work is included in the Cherry Red Noise Floor compilation series and his early cassette work is featured in the critically acclaimed VOD box set American Cassette Culture. Leimer has been actively producing music since the mid 1970s-his current catalog includes twenty solo albums plus collaborative albums with Savant, Marc Barreca, and Three Point Circle. Recent soundtracks include work for video artists Cristiane Bouger and Fred Birchman, HBO's How To With John Wilson and the Netflix documentary John Was Trying to Contact Aliens. His work is included in the collection of The British Library.

Canadian progressive rock duo Crown Lands have steadily emerged as one of the genre's most ambitious modern voices, and in 2026 they return with their most demanding and fully realized work to date - 'Apocalypse'. On this album, the band have collaborated with famed producers Nick Raskulinecz and David Bottrill (both known for their work with Rush), whose contrasting approaches informed the albums creation. Conceptually, Apocalypse is designed as a complete, album sides narrative experience, crafted with the classic album in mind and unfolding as a cohesive story set in the same universe as their 2023 album Fearless. At the heart of the record lies the 19-minute title track, a sprawling epic that anchors the record both musically and narratively. Ultimately, Apocalypse is about change, the end of one thing and the uncertain beginning of another. That theme resonates not only within the album's sci-fi narrative, but in Crown Lands' own evolution, capturing a band fully in command of it's vision and ready to push beyond every boundary it has previously set.

'Lead You To Water' marks a new chapter for Quinn Oulton, built around the foundations of 90s and 2000s RnB, whilst carving room for his unconventional production techniques and distinctive songwriting voice. Sitting somewhere in between Sampha, Mk. Gee and Nick Hakim, a central thread to his approach on the project is simplicity - rather than relying overtly on production elements to embellish the sound of the songs, Quinn instead sought to create spacious pieces that stand on their own, stripping the core of his creativity down to voice and acoustic guitar. Over the past year, the prolific multi-instrumentalist and songwriter has been refining his sound and production style. Collaborating with artists including Linden Jay, Reuben James and Col3trane, and relocating from his London base to LA and Berlin, he's been on a creative drive, pushing his forward-thinking RnB to new places and amassing millions of streams in the process. The South London-born and bred multi-instrumentalist, vocalist & producer has always been a musical explorer. With a foundation deeply rooted in jazz, he possesses a profound understanding of complex musical concepts which he translates seamlessly into the more mainstream genres of contemporary RnB and alt-pop.
