The Ember smart mug is pretty good but not great. The 10 oz is not big enough but the 14 oz is too expensive. I would definitely buy the 14 oz version if money is not an issue. It’s too expensive for what you get. That said, I make a cup of coffee in a 15 ounce cup. When the 15 ounce cup starts getting cool, I dump it in the 10 ounce Ember mug. Not very convenient. The battery is really bad. Believe the other reviewers when they say this. You must keep it on the charging station if you do not want this to die. If they can make a 14 oz cup with a long lasting battery at a reasonable price, this could be an awesome mug. I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 3 because the app is awesome. Pairing is easy. It will alert you when your coffee is at the correct temperature and if you can keep it on the charging base, you will not have issues. The app has presets for tea, water, coffee, etc. Overall the mug is pretty good, but consider buying the 14 oz version if the price decreases.

This was a birthday gift for my wife. She isn’t much into tech items, but she loves her morning coffee. She absolutely loves this coffee mug and hasn’t used anything else since getting it. It seems to be high quality and easy to use. We linked it to her phone and she enjoys getting texts from the mug. Attached is a picture of a text she just got saying the coffee is ready. We originally got her the 10oz mug but it didn’t leave enough room for her massive amount of creamer she likes to use so we upgraded to the 14oz one which is perfect. She likes that this mug helps keep the creamer from cooling down the coffee. We highly recommend this mug but it is a little pricey.

Overall the mug is very cool and gets the job done. The battery will last about 75-90 minutes at most while heated which is nice, but for me that's not always long enough. But in general the thing is pretty cool, the app works well, and is worth it if you're a slow coffee drinker. My only thing would be to get the larger size next time as the 10 oz is on the small side.

Good, battery life is a little weak for bringing it to temp from room temp but otherwise great. (Got this on sale for $50)

This item was a repurchase for me after the first one developed battery issue and was out of warranty. I drink a cup of coffee every morning, and I would often sat my cup down due to the coffee being to hot only to find my coffee warm and much too cool for my liking upon returning to it. That problem is a thing of the past with this cup. I can set the temperature I want and when the coffee cools to that temperature the cup maintains it very well. Perfect! I would have gave it 5 stars if I didn't have to repurchase it, however it's hard to make do without it!

I really like the way I can control the temperature of the liquid in this mug. Best part is that I can place this mug down anywhere and it will keep my beverage at the exact temperature. I am also notified when my beverage reaches the desired temperature.

So far it's amazing but an 8 oz keurig dispensed with cream and sugar does not fit this very well I would go with the bigger size if you like cream in your coffee ! But it has definitely kept it cozy!

The reason I gave it a four. Was because it’s a little pricey. It was a Christmas gift for my son-in-law. He takes it to work. He owns a gym. This keeps his coffee warm while he’s training.

I cant say ENOUGH about this mug! I’ve been eyeing them for a year and when I bought one… I bought three more! They should be awarded “Best Gift of The Year.” Keeps my coffee piping hot and the app feature is easy to use. Thank you so much Ember!!

I finally get to enjoy a hot cup of coffee from start to finish! And the color is beautiful. I keep it on the charging coaster on my desk while I'm working so I don't have to worry about battery life. The app also alerts you when you reach your perfect temperature-be it a latte, cappuccino, coffee, or tea (herbal or not). You just tell it what you have to drink and it will let you know when that temperature is reached. Or you can set your own temperature and you will get a notification when it's reached at well. Love it!

I do like a lot my coffee mug. It keep my favorite temperature up to 2 hr…my coffee always warm

A smart mug is one of those things that sounds ridiculous at first but you'll quickly find out how awesome it is. I have a lot of distractions at work so it's helpful to have a mug that maintains the perfect temperature while I'm in a meeting.

Love the color of this mug. Does what it says and keeps hot drinks at desire temperature. It does heat from beneath so the bottom of your drink may be hotter than the top where you sip. Scratches easily if you use metal spoons.

Works great, thought I wouldn’t care for it but wow I’m hooked great to have coffee an not have to run to microwave to reheat when you get busy.

Going strong almost 4 years now. Still works like new. The charger base has been replaced twice though. Best coffee investment in my lifetime.

It keeps the drinks warm. I do wish it kept it I bit hotter and for a bit longer. But overall gives a very pleasant experience of not having to drink coffee all at once

I’m in love with my Ember cup! Instead of leaving my desk to warm up my tea/coffee, the Ember keeps it nice and toasty for me.
