Emma / Clueless: 2-Movie Collection (Original & Remake) - DVD

The Emma / Clueless 2-Movie Collection - DVD set featuring the 1995 teen comedy Clueless (a modern retelling) and a 1996 adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma (often Gwyneth Paltrow or Kate Beckinsale). Emma (1996) The course of true love runs hilariously askew once would-be Cupid Emma Woodhouse (Gwyneth Paltrow) gets her hands on it, in director/scripter Douglas McGrath's adaptation of the Jane Austen novel. While Emma tries to bring lovers together, will her own chance at romance slip through her fingers? Fine cast also features Toni Collette, Ewan McGregor, Greta Scacchi, Alan Cumming. RUNTIME 120 minutes. RATED PG Clueless (1995) Righteous teen comedy starring Alicia Silverstone as Cher, Beverly Hills high school student and pampered daughter of a widowed lawyer, who tries to help her classmates and family with romance and fashion advice, while eventually coming to examine the problems in her own seemingly perfect life. Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy, Paul Rudd, Donald Faison, and Dan Hedaya co-star in director Amy Heckerling's hit film (based on, of all things, Jane Austen's InchEmmaInch). RUNTIME 97 minutes. RATED PG-13
