Simple but complicated

This is a very small oven to fit into a very small space in my new home. This is my first non-electric oven, and I'm learning that it works much differently than any oven I've ever used. Unfortunately, the directions assume I know my way around a gas oven and give no guidance on how to use it. I'm learning by trial and error. There are only two dials, so it looks simple, but it's pretty touchy and I have no idea how to use the other dial. This is not an oven for novices.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
