I looked at 3 music files; they were 3.3 Megabytes, 15.6 Megabytes and 25.1 Megabytes. The average size is 14.66 Megabytes. * Gigabytes is 8192 Megabytes. So if we rephrase the question as "How many 14.66 Megabyte songs will fit on an 8192 Megabyte USB drive the the answer could easily be calculated: (8192/14.66)= 558.8. That would mean 558 songs would fit on the drive. But now you know how to answer the question for your self once you find your average song size.

Q: What makes Type A different from other flash drives?
A: Type A only refers to the USB connector that goes into the host. There are few flash drives that use type B but C will be come the standard in the future.
