Ennio Morricone - Tepepa (Original Soundtrack) - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Pentastar Music Verlag is proud to present on CD the original score by Ennio Morricone for the Western movie Tepepa (aka Blood and Guns), directed in 1969 by Giulio Petroni with a screenplay by Franco Solinas and Ivan Della Mea, editing by Eraldo Da Roma, photography by Francisco Marin and starring Tomas Milian, Orson Welles, John Steiner, José Torres, Luciano Casamonica, George Wang, Anna Maria Lanciaprima, Clara Colosimo, Giancarlo Badessi, Rafael Hernández, Vittorio Gigli, Ángel Ortiz, Armando Casamonica, Paloma Ciela, Maria Daddi and Paola Natale. The government of InchcomradeInch Madero does not satisfy the peon Tepepa, who continues his battle against the government troops together with a group of faithful fighters, feeling mocked by the ex-revolutionary-come-head of state. Tepepa finds himself several times facing the fearsome Colonel Cascorro and is constantly persecuted by an English doctor, Henry Price, eager to avenge a girl from a wealthy family with whom the doctor was in love and whom Tepepa had raped, driving her to suicide. Cascorro finally manages to wound Tepepa, who had escaped him several times, but in the decisive battle he is killed by the revolutionary. Meanwhile, the doctor, who despite his hatred for Tepepa had remained on the side of the revolutionaries, manages to take revenge on the peon, killing him with a scalpel immediately after extracting the bullet from the wound. Tepepa's death, however, does not mark the end of the revolution, and others will continue the battle in his place. Ennio Morricone composed another remarkable soundtrack for the revolutionary Western genre, creating a solemn theme with a Mexican flavor for Tepepa. The theme returns frequently throughout the film, alternating with a Country-flavored motif for InchTepepa and PriceInch and suspense music (InchTradimento primo,Inch InchTradimento secondoInch). Ennio Morricone - Space: 1999 (Soundtrack) - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Beat Records is proud to present the world premiere CD of SPACE 1999, featuring the original motion picture soundtrack of the Italian theatrical version composed by two-time Oscar-winner Ennio Morricone. SPACE 1999 premiered in Italian theatres on January 14, 1975, and was created through the process of editing together three episodes from season one of the TV series. The series' original iconic score was not used for the Italian theatrical version (the series originally premiered on British television on September 4, 1975), instead being replaced with a fascinating score by Ennio Morricone, who composed original material featuring frantic jazz themes and futuristic electronic sequences reminiscent of Barry Gray's work on UFO. This also includes avant-garde material by Morricone that was carefully selected as background music for various scenes in the movie, taken directly from the RCA promotional series of library vinyl LPs titled InchDimensioni Sonore, Inch performed by symphonic orchestra and presented here in full stereo. Also included is the final large orchestral theme heard over the end credits, featuring vocals by Edda Dell'Orso and I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni.
