About This Item

Returning after their break out 2022 self titled debut, Envy of None are set to a new single InchThat Was ThenInch taken from the forthcoming EP 'That Was Then, This Is Now, out 9th June via Kscope. The all-star line-up of Alex Lifeson (Rush), Andy Curran (Coney Hatch), Maiah Wynne and Alf Annibalini, continue their exponential growth of their trippy, edgy atmospheric sound that took the world by surprise, with this newly recorded track. The song undulates with progressive dexterity characterised by a fuzzy bass driven groove which once again features the haunting vocals and lyrics of Maiah Wynne seasoned with Alex Lifeson Inchsound - scapingInch guitar tones and classic outro solo. Andy Curran states InchWe have a brand-new song called Inch That Was ThenInch which marks the first new track we've recorded since our debut album almost a year ago When we were tinkering with the 360 mixes that kind of led to all of us talking about new songs. I had the bass riff for Inch That Was ThenInch and told the other EONs I would send it around and it kinda sat there like a tin of milk for a month or so until Maiah added some vocal ideas. That kicked the door wide open and Alex and Alf went to town with adding some incredible moody guitars and keyboards. The icing on the cake was when Alex called in his friend Ty Dennis to overdub real drums which cemented the entire song together.Inch Album Tracks 1. Lethe River 2. You'll Be Sorry 3. Dog's Life (Remix) 4. Dumb (Der Dummkopf Remix) 5. That Was Then
