Q: Can I add speakers?

A: Sure can..i hooked up my blue ray surround sound ...the built in speaker isn't loud enough for me

Q: Can this unit be turned on & off with a remote?

A: Yes, although the remote is hard to use in a really bright room.

Q: Is there a case available for this model?

A: It comes with a case if that's what you're asking. Black zippered case that has a few pockets

Q: Can I hook up a DIRECTV box through the hdmi to watch a fight?

A: Yes, but depending on the DirecTV box capabilities, it might shrink the screen to fake the HD resolution the box is putting out due to the projector only being 800*600 (Your DirecTV box is most likely 1920*1080 by comparison - your shrinking the picture with this projector) Also, you'll only be able to have audio from projector speaker unless you buy an additional HDMI audio splitter to run the audio to your surround sound or other source - there is no audio out on this specific model.

Q: I want to use this in a conference room that will hold up to 250 attendees. Will this work well for that kind of venue?

A: It works very well in a church with 250 seating. So the answer would be yes.

Q: wireless???

A: No, the projector is not wireless.

Q: What is the maximum size it projects the image too? (Example 30" x 60"

A: Honestly, I projected this on the side of a house no problem. Which is like 15 feet by 10 feet at least. So depending on the amount of light in the room there's almost no limitation

Q: Does this projector have a tendency to over heat and shutdown during a movie

A: No it doesnt overheat and shut down. I leave it on for 8 hours as a window projector for christmas!
