Absolutely amazing Epson QB-1000 projector. I previously had the Epson 3200 which had 3D, but we stopped using the 3D as we got tired of wearing glasses. I wanted to upgrade to a laser projector and didn’t mind that the QB-1000 didn’t have 3D. This model is a serious jump in everything. Brighter, deeper, richer, and more vibrant colors with super deep blacks. With my previous Epson, I could only use the low setting on Natural to keep the fan noise low. But with this QB-1000 I’m using Cinema and Vivid levels and the fan noise is the same as its lowest setting on Natural, so there’s a huge improvement on fan noise over the 3200. I highly doubt I’ll be hearing anything other than when I’m cranking up the 11.4.4 Dolby Atmos surround sound system on my 150” screen. It’s pricey, but considering that it’s a laser projector I expect to have this for at least 7-10 years. After two days of calibration, it seriously rivals my 98” TCL in sharpness and color. My only minor complaint is that there is no quick route to keystone the picture as they have no Keystone button on the remote so you have to go through the Menu route in order to do it. Everything can be adjusted with the remote as far as focus, zoom, lens shift up/down/left/right. Overall, highly highly highly recommend it.
