Great projector for the price. Clear 1080 picture! Bright! Have it on a 120" fixed screen. Probably not getting any better unless you spend $1,000+. Refurbished, but no issues so far.

To keep this review simple, the projector is fantastic and it goes for a great price. It's very simple to set up and use and has 2 HDMI ports and composite inputs which makes me very happy. It looks great with and especially without the lights on. The fan is very quiet when it's not in the brightest setting (which is insanely bright for a home cinema projector by the way you really don't need that setting on). I only wish it had some form of audio out, the speakers are just alright and if I had a receiver then it would be no problem, but I don't so I'm just stuck with the built-in speakers until I either buy both an HDMI splitter and an HDMI audio extractor or a receiver. Still, though I am very happy with this projector and would recommend it to anyone who has an extra room they'd like to turn into a theater.

Bought this as a member deal for $400 and glad we did. I have absolutely no complaints regarding this product. Positive responses are as follows: 1) Extremely easy to install 2) Setup is easy (quick start instructions would be helpful) 3) Picture quality is definitely better than expected for the price 5) Excellent picture in theater dark room while still viewable with typical room lighting on. Used with a Silver Ticket 120” STR-169120-WAB acoustically transparent screen.

I was tasked with researching and purchasing a new projector for the local Iris Society gardening club. Their old Dell projector was way off on rendering accurate colors, which is important when you're looking at pictures of flowers. After considerable research, I decided a home cinema projector would be a better option than a business projector. This Epson 1060 model, with great reviews and 3100 lumens (they leave the lights on for their meetings) seemed just the ticket. With a limited budget, I started shopping for a refurbished option. Best Buy had this cheaper than anyone else, with the full manufacturers warranty. The unit arrived, it clearly was refurbished directly by Epson. I plugged it into the laptop, played with the settings to create a custom color profile, and was quite pleased with myself. The real test occurred at the next meeting. The members of the club are tough to please. I was surprised when the Negative Nelly of the bunch complimented the sharpness of the image and the quality of the colors. Overall I'm very pleased with this projector.

I was setting up budget home theater setup in my unfinished basement and evaluated few low end projectors (less than $150) from another retailer only to realize that the quality was not great and you get what you pay for. I came across refurbished option in BB and bought it for a good price. Once i installed and had it running, I was amazed by the picture quality, clarity and the options it provides to tweak the size, corners etc. Even in the ECO mode, the screen is much brighter and you can see the picture clearly in half lit room. I'm happy that I purchased this device and would certainly consider Epson when I decide to finish my basement and upgrade it to 4K

While this projector is obviously not on the same level as a Sony or JVC 4K (TV) projector, it produces a very pleasing HD picture, even with moderate room lighting. When I first unpacked it & temporarily threw the picture up on an off-white wall, I was very surprised how good the picture was then. Once I set it up on an actual screen - which was very easy - then it's quality was able to really shine. The multiple video inputs make this projector versatile for many uses & it's compact size makes it easy to even take "on the road". Considering this was for a refurbed unit that was also on sale, this projector was actually a steal!

Really impressed with the overall picture and functionality of this projector, especially considering the price. We’ve used this projector to watch movies, TV and play Xbox and all of them produced a very bright crystal clear picture even with daylight in a very well lit room!

Projector works very good and has clear picture quality. Fan sound is high, but if you have speakers connected to it..you wont feel the difference. I used amazon 4k firestick in one of the HDMI point in receiver. Then connected HDMI cable from HDMI projector to HDMI cable in receiver(ARC)...Picture quality came out to be very good.

This is my first 1080p projector, and I am very impressed with its abilities. It makes a nice bright image at an impressive resolution despite being projected out to 100 inches. The built in speaker is loud for my needs but I still run the audio through the home speakers.

A great projector for basic home theater setup. Crisp picture quality. Looks great even on walls. Throw is great even from shorter distances. Sound is mono but still good enough and loud. Portable and light weight. Easy to use buttons and remote.

We got two projectors for our church and have used one of them so far. It seems to function as advertised. The picture is clear and bright enough. I thought the bulb would probably be the original one on this refurbished unit, but the bulb timer said 0 hours of use. The unit also has a 2 year warranty, just like the new ones. For $400, it looks like we got a very good deal.

The speakers on it are meh at best but I use computer speakers with this setup and bring it outside on weekends for movie night in the back yard. This thing can go pretty bright and I can use it in the house too, which I have done on occasion. The fan wasn't too bad and I only bring it up because the built in speaker is pretty weak. Use external speakers if you got them!

Purchased the Epson 1060 projector after our old Optima projector broke down. Even this projector is refurbished, it is still a great product with lot nice feature. The projector is light, and easy to set up, plus it offers all different kinds of connection which allows to hook up with different generation of computer. In short, this is a nice product and definitely worth the price.

This projector is bright and clear. There is no sound output but that’s okay because most people will probably use a sound bar that can go connected between the projector and source through an hdmi cable. I am currently using a Bluetooth connection via the fire stick. Not planning on buying TVs after this. Using a 150 inc screen and it’s the best

This was a great purchase. Works perfectly and is awesome in the back yard. It is bright enough to start watching before the sun goes down
Great picture quality! Purchased this and a projection screen for Halloween window projections. The kids loved it! We are going to take this to the backyard this summer and have movie nights under the stars. The kids and adults are all looking forward to summer night movies.

Bought this for our outdoor movie nights. The onboard speaker isn't good, but that's to be expected. Paired with an amp and speakers. The picture quality is awesome. I love this projector.
