This is my third Epson Workforce printer and it is the best so far. Easy setup, extra paper capacity, much faster print speed, easy print cartridge replacement.

I had another Epson Workforce printer that finally gave out after 4 years of constant use for my wife's business, The new 4640 I got to replace my old one is faster and a whole lot quieter than my old one. In fact my wife commented on the fact she was surprised that I had finished something for her as she didn't hear the printer printer working.

Replaced a Dell color laser printer and am very pleased with print, copy and scan. haven't set up fax yet, but anticipate no issues. Amazingly quiet as well. Much better print quality than a typical inkjet.

I am still learning to use my new all in one printer, but so far it has been great. Print quality and clearity are excellent. Print speed is also very good for an inkjet printer. It was easy to setup and install. A great printer!

Replaced a Canon MX922 that I loved. Envelope feeder quick working months ago and I just used my wife's HP. This unit is much larger and allows more features. I do a lot of color printing and love the simpler cartridge system. Printing is laser quality without the laser price.

A known defect according to Epson bit me this week. The logic boards are known to fail and while Epson will repair it, its on you to get to a "local" repair center. Mine was ~50 miles. For a $200 printer 100 miles in gas isnt worth it. Go with HP and shop by how many pages you can print per cartridge. Look for at least 600 and better to have 1000 pages per cartridge. Else you are saving up front and killing your self long term

This printer has worked beautifully since I bought it. It functions easily and prints great. Scanning and faxing is also easy with this printer.

Bought this printer to upgrade our printing/scanning capabilities. This unit offers a number of very useful features, including our favorite, Apple Airprint. Very easy to set up. Up and running in no time! Ink cartridges are very convenient and easy to install. We prefer these to the refillable ink tanks. Only criticism is that Epson's claim of "laser quality" printing is a bit optimistic. While ink jet technology has come a long way, the reality is that it just isn't "quite" as good yet....in our opinion. We base that on the fact that we also have a competitor's laser printer, that, while being 4 years old, still produces amazing print results. Very good product, though, Epson. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a one size fits all printer! No runs, no drips, no errors!

This machine is very similar to our previous Epson WorkForce Pro, so we pretty much knew what we would be getting again with this purchase. I love the multi-functionality and the two-sided printing.

So far so good. Good quality printouts. I love the extra tray.

I won't say it's an excellent machine. Only because scanning takes a bit long but other than that it's an awesome machine. I love the wireless features.

Printer wasn't nearly as good as the reviews I read. This printer prints where blurry. Poor quality.

I have owned a number of Epson printers, from photo printers to small office printers, and I have always been highly impressed with the low cost of ownership and their outstanding performance. The Workforce Pro WF-4640 is perhaps the greatest printer ever made for the small office. When you compare its 4 in 1 features, price, and performance against any other printer in its class, there simply is nothing else out there that can challenge it. I have found that when compared with HP, Cannon, Brother, and other printers, Epson stands far above them all. I've taken the time to provide this stellar review because this printer, and Epson in general, deserves the bragging points. They really do make the best printers.

I purchased the Epson - WorkForce Pro WF-4640 Network-Ready Wireless All-In-One Printer for the church office after several people did a lot of research and decided this was the best option. From the date it was installed the Epson-WorkForce Pro backed up the decision by demonstrating its capabilities. The printer was installed on the church wireless network and the process was flawless. The WorkForce Pro easily identified the computers on the network. The quality of print is outstanding. This printer was intended to serve as a backup to the main copier/printer. The printer has been in service for a few months now and has surpassed our expectations. The WorkForce Pro WF-4640 has become the “go to” printer for faxing and scanning in the office.

We use this for both home use and printing for work. It works great. Looks good and is quick. Our Costco did not have in the ink cartridges like someone else posted in their review but still happy!

I hate to contradict so many good reviews of this product, but after owning the product (twice) for several months, I found that the good first impressions of the Epson are not lasting. I purchased my first Epson in the summer of 2016, but after a couple months the text quality began to degrade--several lines on each page were smeared. After a couple more months, many lines on each page became unreadable. I returned the unit and BestBuy courteously provided a new replacement. New machine, same story: after a couple months the output degraded and became unreadable. Again, BestBuy came to the rescue (I had purchased the extended warranty) and gave me the option to replace the Epson with another brand. I opted for the HP laser printer, a bit more costly but more durable and dependable than the Epson.
