New Age Doom follows up it's critically acclaimed 2020 drone metal opus Himalayan Dream Techno with a serendipitous LP featuring the dub legend Lee InchScratchInch Perry as lead vocalist. With it's central themes of experimentation and dreaming, the album takes listeners on a sonic trip through a genre-defying blend of drone, jazz, stoner rock, noise and (of course) dub. InchIt felt natural to team up with an artist well known for boldness and experimentation,Inch reflects drummer and co-producer Eric J. Breitenbach on the choice of approaching Perry to appear on the album. InchWe never expected him to say yes, but at the same time, never doubted that he would. Once he was aboard, everything else just fell into place.Inch Delivering a life-affirming performance equal parts blessing and warning, Perry drops benevolent wisdom bombs and soaring melodies of holy adoration. Possessed of blessed inspiration, the legendary Upsetter Inchkills us down with loveInch with his singular brand of freestyle proselytizing.

Jazz pianist and bandleader King Fleming was born Walter Fleming on the North side of Chicago, on May 4, 1922. In 1942-1943, he led a popular Swing band in Chicago. After service in the Navy, he recorded in Los Angeles with groups led by Johnny Alston and King Perry before returning to Chicago in November 1946. Despite regular work in the clubs and occasional recording gigs as a session pianist, this 1954 single for Chicago's Blue Lake tag, marked his first session as a leader. Fleming's combo consisted of the fine tenor saxophonist John Neely, bassist Russell Williams, and drummer Aubrie Jones. Jazz singer Lorez Alexandria made her recording debut on this session; she sings solo on InchWilliams' BluesInch and participates in the bop-oriented vocal ensemble that graces the flip side, InchOne O'Clock Jump.Inch Newly remastered.
