    Great Digital Thermometer

    Very easy to use. Large display. Love the alarm festure and the wired probe so I dont have to keep opening my stove or grill. Also love all the preset temps to let you know if meat is rare, medium or well done.

    Just what I needed.

    Pretty stoked about this meat thermometer. It's easy to use and has a magnetic back so you can place it out of the way when using it. It's also great that the heat resistant cord allows you to place the thermometer in a pot or on the grill and leave it. No burning yourself trying to take the temp while holding the thermometer. It's also great that you can leave it in whatever you are cooking and know exactly when it reaches the desired temp.

    Would recommend

    Leave it in food while cooking and it'll tell you when your food is done cooking based on internal temperature.

    Does a great job and super convenient

    The thermometer does it's job very well. I like that you can leave it in your meat while it is in the oven, grill, smoker, etc. Will make life so much easier in monitoring the temperature. Only downside is that the set up and changing from Celsius (which is the default) to Fahrenheit, is not intuitive and you need to read the directions repeatedly in order to do it. Otherwise, you can be like me and just cook in Celsius. Truth is, when the meat's done, it's done, regardless of whether the thermometer says 175 or 80, or whatever. The thermometer tells you when it is ready.

  • Is this device able to be used while meat cooks in a hot oven

    Yes, I used it in the oven for a meat. Had the oven at 450 degrees and waited until the inside temp reached 160 for a pork loin. Came out great!

  • I’d be using this in a smoker with a port for a temperature probe. What is the temperature rating of the wiring insulation?

    Not sure on the rating, but have grilled and baked at 400 several times
