A: I used fluke multi meter and popped open rear view mirror cover to expose the magical circuits inside This detector calls for center of shield mount - unusual No wire diagram but the rule of thumb is red to positive and black to ground ;) So find those two with meter - make sure it's only powered with ignition on not to a constant power You will need to explore - be patient- use your cunning If you encounter the ancient bridge dragon that asks the questions three - be not afraid, be calm, it's only 12 volts Plus if your buying a 600 dollar radar detector then you care about tickets and fuses as much as I do (Fuse isn't needed bc the danger is you tapping into a circuit, which is already fused, detector doesn't pull amps but your poor wiring may so do it right ) Combined w uniden long range - performed well, at 130 mph cruise was hit or miss which one went off first Uniden gets more x band junk Escort app like Waze good if any data was imput to it I guess it's in infancy or the two of us paid for this thing are alone Worst case your running wires from mirror area to under dash but all dome lights have power available Good luck and keep left lane clear of idiots
