If you are a road warrior this detector is a must! GPS lockout for false signals and the processor is getting better with cars with on board radar. I upgraded from the last generation Max 360 and I have experienced better range and detection, plus the auto update feature (wifi) is very convenient. I also tried out the Uniden R7 (see pic) but the cons of too many falses which could be because the range is better. There is a gps chip for lockout but you have to manually mark it. So, for me Max 360C is well worth the $$. 2 cons are the price.... and if you are upgrading from a previous model with marked locations, there is no way to transfer or merge to the new unit. If you drive the same rout everyday, its not a big deal, but it is a bit frustrating when you cover a large area and different towns, cities, counties and states. I based the value on the cost of insurance rates and speeding ticket costs.

This Escort Max360c has paid for itself in just under a month. I have a CDL and have a tendency to have a heavy foot when not in my rig. I’m an overly cautious driver but when I’m in my personal vehicle I have a tendency of not paying attention to my speed. I have the ability to set an over speed protection that will alert me of my violation, which was a money saver a quite a few times already. When I’m in Bluetooth mode it shows me current speed limits and the speed of the vehicle. Knowing my speed and speed limits is great but the distance this radar detects is amazing, it gives you more than enough time to make your adjustments. The detection distances are adjustable from city to highways Incase your in a crowded environment. It’s a bit complicated at first on how to use/set/adjust the settings but after a bit of reading and a few YouTube videos I’m very confident on managing my Max360c. Overall it’s amazing! I wish I would’ve bought one sooner but I bought one now and it has helped me tons. The price is a bit on the higher side but just consider the cost of a moving violation or two!!!

Got this to replace my other Escort, it's display went black. This unit worked ok until the audio warning stopped. Almost missed a few warning and don't know how many I did miss. I updated the firmware a few times and it didn't work. I opened it up and found the speaker used a cheap tin connector to connect to the main circuit board. I cleaned the contacts by re-seating the connector a few times. I put it back together and it fixed the problem. The tin connectors oxidize (think rust) and this oxide is an insulator and prevents the signal going to the speaker. The contacts being rubbed back and forth cleans the oxide off and restores the connections. It was pretty CHEAP of Escort to use such a bad connector in this HIGH priced device. SUGGEST that they spend another 3 cents and use a connector that won't fail. How often do one of your electronic devices fail because a connector have to be re-seated?

Excellent radar detector. Fewer false alerts and more distance, providing more time to adjust your speed. The direction arrows, current speed and speed limit indicators are very helpful and convenient. I'd recommend it.

It was stolen with my vehicle 2 days after Christmas. I haven't been able to recover all my belongings yet. It worked really great.

the radar does what is expected is quite accurate and helpful with arrows. the stickycup has a fault in its manufacture if you leave the radar placed in a week the plastic that supports the weight of the radar and the frame is broken and two radars returned ppr because of that the radar falls to the ground of the car. escort offers to send a new mount for free but the same will happen again to a defect

The range is amazing, the mount is amazing, the looks are awesome and the only thing that’s not 5 stars for this unit is it’s near as loud as my escort 9300xi. Thanks

Amazing detector itself, but the app was very lackluster and disappointing. Store signal stopped working after a while. Annoying

I got this radar for my bday about 2 years ago and its been a life saver. I had to purchase this for my brother because it works so great. The directional arrows are life savers and was not something i knew i needed until i got this radar. I personally dont care for all the extra features on the app but in terms how this piece equipment works its defintely a 10/10!

Long time Escort radar detector user, but I'm also adept to going with a new product if it can outperform my established brand loyalty. So far that hasn't been the case. This Escort Max 360c has been phenomenal. It's long range detection has saved me more than a few times. The app is also great to use for feature adjustments. Without a doubt, it is more expensive than some other radar detectors, but this isn't an area where I want to save a little money and risk a traffic ticket. I've driven 2,000 miles since I purchased in April 2022. The ticket and lawyer would surpass the price so it's well worth it for me. If you push the limit, this is the one you need.

This is an outstanding radar detector. It is not cheap, but it is worth it. It has great detection sensitivity and range, and does a great job of only alerting on real threats. It lets you know both the direction and number of any radar or lasers detected. For many years the Valentine was only radar detector offering this feature. This direction and number of signals is critical in determining what to do when an alert occurs. There is also dozens of advanced configuration options that enable one to tailor the unit exactly to their needs. It also connects with a phone on car/SUV wifi to add in crowd sourcing data to its capabilities. This same connection also pulls in current speed limits on the road you are on. However, the crowd sourcing also results in the only false alarms I have seen on this radar detector. This is not the detectors fault though it is because people will sometimes mark traffic cameras as speed cameras, or the "your speed" signs near construction zones as speed traps. The only complaint I have is that up dates, which can occur in your driveway via your home wifi, take an absurd amount of time. They should look into doing smaller updates more frequently.

Replaced a still working Escort detector but was tired of the excessive false alarms (primarily due to vehicle collision avoidance systems). Significant reduction in these false alarms. Good detection distance, and the arrows are a nice touch I didn't realize I was missing. Overspeed alert is another nice function. Haven't used the Escort Live feature yet. It's a bit pricey, but it pays for itself by avoiding potential tickets. Owned for ~ 1 month, and it is used daily.
