Q: Will these connect to a 5ghz network? Many smartplugs only connect to a 2.4ghz network.
A: No they are 2.4ghz only.
Q: Can you plug a power strip, that has multiple items on it, into this this plug?
A: yes, but the power draw has to be less than 1000w

Q: How do I reconnect the smart plug to the internet?

A: These only work on WiFi with a router, using the 2.4Ghz band and not the 5Ghz band. In other words, they do not connect directly to your phone via hotspot or Bluetooth.
