Extra Ordinary - BLU-RAY

Something is haunting the Englewood movie theater - an unseen force that comes alive after dark. Paranormal investigator Kyle Jennings is called in, but the moment he steps inside, the nightmare begins. The theater seals itself shut, the screen tears open like a doorway, and the low budget zombie movie playing suddenly becomes real. With the undead spilling into the aisles, Kyle must uncover the source of the disturbance before the entire theater becomes a feeding ground, and the only clues may be trapped inside the film itself. Long overlooked and scarcely distributed, Todd Norris' The Paranormal is one of the great InchlostInch achievements of the SOV era. Smart, sharply structured, and performed with an unexpected level of Polish, it pushes well beyond the scrappy expectations of it's budget. Norris brings a true filmmaker's eye to every frame, blending genre thrills with a clear affection for the moviegoing experience itself. For fans who think they've seen every corner of the Shot-on-Video landscape, The Paranormal is a revelation, and proof that the video was capable of far more than it was ever given credit for.

Rose, a mostly sweet & lonely small-town driving instructor, must use her supernatural talents to save the daughter of Martin (also mostly sweet & lonely) from a washed-up rock star who is using her in a Satanic pact to reignite his fame.

The young Jennifer Corvino (played by Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Connelly, in one of her first film roles) is sent to a private Swiss academy for girls where a vicious killer is on the loose, brutally murdering students. Jennifer is a gifted girl with the strange ability to communicate with insects, and Dr. McGregor (Donald Pleasence, John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN series, ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK) enlists her to help locate the killer. Jennifer finds herself in a bizarre murder plot with maggots, mutants, and razor-wielding chimpanzee mayhem! Can she uncover the killer's identity before becoming a victim herself? Daria Nicolodi (TENEBRAE) and Fiore Argento (DEMONS) also star in this strange, unique and gory film from Italy's Master of Horror, Dario Argento. PHENOMENA also features fantastic soundtrack music from progressive-rock favorite Goblin, British Heavy Metal masters Motörhead & Iron Maiden, Andi S*x Gang, Bill Wyman and Simon Boswell!
