The band was originally named Faith No Man. The band underwent several lineup changes early in their career, along with some major changes later on. Limited double 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered and expanded edition. Following it's Grammy nominated album Angel Dust, Faith No More returned in 1995 with King For A Day... Fool For A Lifetime. Recorded at Bearsville Studios near Woodstock, New York, it was the first without longtime guitarist Jim Martin, whose departure had an influence on the direction of the album. In the new liner notes, keyboardist Roddy Bottum writes InchAs a result, we wrote and recorded some of our most radical, out there songs, like 'Cuckoo For Caca' and 'Ugly In The Morning,' some of our mellowest like 'Take This Bottle, Caralho Voador' and then some or our most high-drama, like 'Just A Man.'Inch Among the eight bonus tracks are the b-sides InchSpanish EyesInch and InchAbsolute Zero,Inch as well as the band's cover of the Bee Gee's InchI Started A Joke,Inch which was originally released as a b-side in 1995. Double vinyl LP pressing. With a career spanning just 10 years, Talk Talk left an everlasting impact and legacy on music with a relatively short career. Starting out as a synth-pop group, with singles like InchTalk TalkInch and one of the biggest songs of the 80s in InchIt's My Life. Inch Talk Talk continued to experiment and challenge themselves all along their career whilst maintaining critical success with albums such as The Colour Of Spring and Spirit Of Eden. With the latter, they went on to pioneer what then became known as post-rock and is critically acclaimed a masterpiece to this day. The Very Best Of Talk Talk will be available on CD, fully supported and approved by the band and Mark Hollis' estate.
