Falkenbach - Heralding - The Fireblade - VINYL LP

Falkenbach were originally conceived as a solo-project by Vratyas Vakyas and officially came into being with the InchLaeknishendrInch demo in 1995. After the interlude of their fourth album, which partly featured reworked earlier material, the next full-length from the German composer and multi-instrumentalist who was again joined by musicians appeared to be a summary of all the elements from his previous works. InchTiuridaInch (2011) put the emphasis on the band's epic melodic pagan metal side, which was generously spiced with some earlier black metal elements. The album still evokes an overall impression of confident and experienced songwriting. Falkenbach had reached the point where they not only exactly knew their musical destination but also how to get there.

On Oceanator's third full-length album, Everything is Love and Death, songwriter Elise Okusami showcases her exceptional pop sensibilities, delivering 11 tracks full of melodic depth and lively energy. Produced by Grammy nominated engineer/producer Will Yip (Title Fight, Turnstile, Bartees Strange), the new album features some of the biggest and boldest songs Okusami has ever written, such as the anthemic and sludgy InchDrift Away,Inch featuring backing vocals from NNAMDÏ. Oceanator's music has been praised in outlets such as Stereogum, Pitchfork, NPR and SPIN, who described Okusami as having Inchthe kind of voice that can silence a room.Inch The band has shared the stage with the likes of Jeff Rosenstock, Laura Jane Grace, PUP, and others with a notable touring history across North America and Europe.
