I collect video games. I always try my best to get the original versions with original box art, inserts, etc. Based on the photo listed for this item, I was under the impression that I had purchased just that. However, when I received my order, it was in the new Xbox One style case (see attached). May seem picky, but I believe the photo shown of an item should reflect what a consumer actually purchases.

I played Fallout 3 and 4 already and thought I would give New Vegas a shot (even though it's a bit old at this point). With Fallout 4 Bethesda (game developer) got criticized by critics and fans a like for having a weak story and a world where most interactions/quests involved shooting generic post-apocalyptic bandits. Fallout 4 is a great game but the actual role playing/world building part is very very weak. You could make similar comments about Fallout 3. In contrast Fallout New Vegas was made by Obsidian who are known for taking other people's games and making really interesting stories. In New Vegas your actions shape how various factions in the world perceive you and treat you, so what you do actually has consequences. Many of the quests and characters are memorable and well written. To give an example the other day I played a seemingly generic quest where I had to update some radio gear on behalf of a military officer. This led to a mystery about military reports that were clearly false. This ultimately led to a conversation with a really nice old man in the organization who eventually admitted that he thought his group was involved in a military mess (think Vietnam or Iraq) that was wasting a lot of young lives. He alluded to the fact that he was falsifying reports and undermining battle planning so that leaders back home would think things are hopeless and end the war. After confronting him I tell him I will have him arrested and he accepts this. Then when you leave his office he locks the door, apologizes to everyone over the loudspeaker for losing his way, and then shoots himself. I struggle to think of an interesting story like this in Fallout 4. If you like Bethesda games like Fallout or Elder Scrolls I highly recommend Fallout New Vegas. The graphics are pretty bad (they weren't even good when it first came out) but that's not stopping me from having fun.

This followup to Fallout 3 is a return to the world Fallout but in a totally different city with new quests and missions to complete, new gear and weapons to find and enemies to defeat or run away from. The story is a bit more linear and the world is less open ended but New Vegas makes up for that with more and better action. The DLC comes for free with this version of the game so that is even more stuff to do. Overall a great package that will tide me over until Fallout 4.

Best RPG system with in depth branching story and high replay value. Main and Side quest are memorable and have impact towards the ending of the game that are based on player's choices. High weapon weapon varieties that accommodate the players' play style. All DLCs is an excellent addition to expand upon the lore of the base game. Overall, the game will keep you entertained and last for a long time depending on the player's completion mindset.

Got this soon after starting Fallout 3. New Vegas changes up enough things that it feels very unique. I love the new additions to gameplay, the added faction reputation and the story. Most characters are fairly memorable. Also love the fact this comes with all the DLC and for a great price too. Would highly recommend this to any fan of Fallout or Bethesda.

This game is amazing and so in depth. It may even be better than Fallout 3 and 4! I am a huge fan of the series and this edition is packed with so much content! Not to mention, when you start off, you get so much stuff from the DLC you'll already feel like a B.A.

I'm always wary when it comes to buying pre-owned anything, especially discs, and ESPECIALLY game discs. Through 20 hours of gameplay, no problems at all. Excellent condition as far as I can tell. And Fallout: New Vegas is a great game.

Fallout: New Vegas is a great RPG following the same structure as Fallout 3. It features similar weaponry and armor, and a lot of similar gameplay, making it feel almost like an expansion pack to Fallout 3, especially when considering the size of the world map when compared to Fallout 3. However, Bethesda has implemented a lot of new features to the game, such as customizable weapons, different types of ammo. The game also features a perk called Wild Wasteland, making the game practically go insane at random. Overall, Fallout: New Vegas is a good buy for those wanting a fun, adventurous RPG to play, and replay for hours on end.

Always been a rpg fan.. New Vegas is one of the best rpg games to date. Fans of fallout 3 and other rpg games should get a kick out of it.. It has a great story, a ton of side quests, new weapons and weapon mods. Its an all around fun game to play. Its a total life absorber. Expect to burn and easy 60+ hours if your into completing side quests as well and the main questline. Plus it has new expansions that add more story, more weapons and more leveling up. Only thing I dislike about it is the glitching. I think the creators forced it a bit. It wasnt as polished as fallout 3. Still a great game though.

XBoxOne really made it difficult to play this. I bought this three months ago and still haven't even played it because Microsoft Xbox One requires youto download the game content from the internet before it can even be played. Xbox One is big disappointment. This is otherwise a GREAT game, I love Fallout: New Vegas. I have played it before and was very happy with the game. However, I am not happy with Xbox One downloads. I recommend the gamebut I do not recommend Xbox One to anyone without access to the www/internet.

This is an awesome game, lots of story, missions, side quests, well written dialogue and very much like Fallout 3. The price you can't beat for what you get; the full game and several of the DLC's. If you like RPG's or even shooters, this game will provide many hours of enjoyment. But this game has HUGE issues with crashing, freezing, and glitches. I had this game when it first came out on a different X360, and it eventually corrupted my save file and I ended up getting rid of the game. I have since gotten rid of that unit and now have the Halo edition X360, so I figured I would try this game again. I probably got 2 hours in when it started exhibiting the same exact issues. I even installed the game, and it changed nothing. The only thing that helped was to turn off the autosaving features, and that only reduced the amount of times it would freeze. Primarily when you go to new areas or there is a loading screen, the game freezes or hangs up. Its very frustrating because the game is really fun to play.

Absolutely loved Fallout 4 when it came out at the end of 2015. After I had played Fallout 4 for several months I decided I wanted to go back and play the some of the first Fallout games in the series. Even though this game was released in 2010 it is still one of my favorite games to play for hours and hours on end.

If you want to play the older fallouts this set is the one to buy, it's an all in one set of fallouts. I would recommend this game to play before fallout 4 ,it will bring you up to speed. Having all the game in one set is very convenient and a better savings for your wallet
