About This Item

Taking place mainly between late 2010 and early 2011, season three finds financially strapped Minnesota parole officer Ray Stussy (Ewan McGregor) and girlfriend Nikki Swango (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) plotting to rob Ray's brother, Emmit (also played by McGregor). The plan sets in motion a chain of events involving mistaken identity, a few homicides, a dangerous British businessman (David Thewlis), and a small-town cop (Carrie Coon) investigating her stepfather's murder. Goran Bogdan co-stars.

"You're a little touched, aren't ya?"
If you liked the movie Fargo, chances are you will enjoy seasons 1,2, and 3 of Fargo. This review is specifically for season 2. We had already watched season 2 when it came out , but we wanted to watch it again and it was just as good as the first time, maybe even better as there were no commercial interruptions.

never watched the first two seasons but with ewan mcgregor in it i watched and it was very good weird at times but thats is why i bought the dvd i do not understand why FX stopped putting their seasons on blu ray that is the only bad thing on this would rather have it on blu ray but for some reason FX is going the cheap and wont offer most of its shows on blu ray

Another great companion to the series
Not as much violence as the first two seasons (granted, there is a good amount of violence), but this is much more of a psychological thriller. Some may have not enjoyed the finale, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

One of the Best Shows Currently on TV
Even into its third season Fargo remains one of the best shows on TV that I can't recommend enough. Bummed this season was only released on dvd though, would love to have it on Blu-Ray

Still a worthy season
I have really enjoyed seasons 1 & 2 of this series and season 3 was very good too, just not quite up to the level of the first two. I like the addition of Ewan MacGregor to the cast.
