About this product
Federale is a seven-piece ensemble based in Portland. Spearheaded by longtime Brian Jonestown Massacre bassist Colin Hegna, the band was conceived as an outlet to channel inspiration from 60s & 70s European soundtracks particularly the Spaghetti Westerns and Giallo genres. On this fourth album, they've expanded their vision to narrative songs ala Lee Hazelwood, Nick Cave and Scott Walker. Murder, revenge, regret, power and corruption are the themes that run rampant through this collection.
