About this product
Post Earth follows Feels' Ty Segall-produced 2016 eponymous debut which earned the band wide acclaim. Produced by Tim Green (the former guitarist of punk iconoclasts Nation of Ulysses, who has worked with Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill, Joanna Newsom, and Jawbreaker), Post Earth is a call to arms, interspersed with frustration and hope. With a steadfast proportion of heavy and light, Post Earth never completely wallows in despair disillusionment is met with a heady helping of defiance; hard work battles against apathy; and there are even references to The Simpsons, courtesy of superfan Lay. Feels also strike a perfect balance musically between noise and energy, breath and space with a mix of angular, interweaving guitars, rich vocal harmonies, heavy bass and pummeling drums - at times hearty and loud, and at others stunningly harmonic and calm. These newly emphasized dynamics highlight the subtler, weirder, and sonically interesting elements of Post Earth, and allowed the four friends (who have played intermittently in bands together since high school) room for experimentation. Album Tracks 1. Car 2. Awful Need 3. Deconstructed [Explicit] 4. Find a Way 5. W.F.L 6. Sour 7. Last Chance 8. Post Earth 9. Tollbooth 10. Anyways 11. Flowers

2015 EP from the native Angeleno four-piece. Scuzzy, slanted guitar interplay, a little grrrlish swagger, flashes of raw emotion and a cement chip of punk attitude propel these songs directly to your dome and down the brain stem. Kinetic, omnivorous, and easy to get stuck in the noggin, Feels has charm and grit to spare and is pushed deeper into the red, weird wilds by Ty Segall’s home-cooked production. Album Tracks 1. Close My Eyes 2. Slippin 3. Play It Cool 4. Today 5. Tell Me 6. Unicorn 7. Bird's Eye 8. Small Talk 9. Running's Fun

2018 . It's always exciting, and equally difficult, to introduce a new group to the general public. How do you figure out in words what their music is and express it to receptive ears in a way that doesn't demystify it or seeming grandiloquent? But we enjoy exploring new, different worlds, like the one Rush Week offers. The duo from Philadelphia was formed in 2016 by Rachel K. Haines and the producer James Benjamin Thomas, who update the NU Disco, Soul and R&B sounds from the end of the seventies and beginning of the eighties. Their first album, Feels, sounds like the elegance and melancholy of Roxy Music and Talk Talk, modernized with St. Vicent, Étienne de Crécy and Justice, with an irresistible pop filter that brings it closer to Tennis' more recent songs, and that also feeds the dance floor. As we said, it is tremendously difficult to describe Rush Week's music, considering that in the different songs the references jump from one decade to the next, dancing between styles and bringing us closer to the future of pop. The title of the album itself is the best definition of their music, but it there is definitely a word that can express what we can find on InchFeelsInch and that word is InchemotionsInch. On the surface and running high. If there are any gaps, fill them in yourselves. Album Tracks 1. Feelings 2. Stranger Danger 3. Crush 4. Be Like Mike 5. Under the Gun 6. Barcelona 7. Slide 8. Young 9. Last Dance 10. Better Off
