Finding Joy: Series 2 - DVD

Amy Huberman (Striking Out, The Clinic) created, wrote, and stars in this quirky, life-affirming Irish comedy with a Inchsatisfyingly filthy sense of humorInch (The Irish Times). Routine-loving Joy is having a tough time after a messy breakup with her live-in boyfriend, Aidan (Lochlann O'Mearáin, Love & Friendship). Then a promotion forces her to step out of her comfort zone as she replaces her network's star vlogger, the Happy Hunter. The job sends Joy to unusual places where people find bliss wrestling matches, wellness retreats, hot yoga, and more, all while filming her discomfort. But despite the new gig and help from her free-spirited roommate (Aisling Bea, The Fall), Joy can't seem to get over Aidan, or even stop running into him and his beautiful new girlfriend (Karen Hassan, Vikings). Will Joy be able to accept the changes in her life and find happiness of her own?

Bobbie McAllister (Reba McEntire) had been running her dad's Nashville suburbs watering hole for a decade, and she was looking forward to doing so her own way after his passing. Small problem she'd have to do so as co-owner with Gen-Zer Isabella Sanchez (Belissa Escobedo), the product of one of Happy's affairs and her newly acknowledged sister. Reba's welcome return to sitcoms, bowing in 2024 on NBC, also stars Melissa Peterman, Rex Linn, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk. 18 episodes on 2 discs. 6 1/4 hrs. Widescreen; Soundtrack English Dolby Digital 5. 1; Subtitles English (SDH).

Mackenzie Crook (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Toby Jones (The Hunger Games) strike comedic gold in this critically adored series about two oddballs scouring the English countryside for treasure. If only their characters, Andy and Lance, could be so fortunate. These amateur metal detectorists have an unhealthy fixation on uncovering a fabled trove of buried Saxon loot. Unfortunately, the world of high-stakes metal detecting is surprisingly turbulent, as are their personal lives.
