It is fair but not one of his better recordings. I don't think that it was worth the money spent for it.

This latest album was a surprise to me. I didn't even know he was working on a new album and I live in the Detroit area. It seems Bob has found his "sound". No more tries at rap, but pure bluesy, country, southern rock sound that has made him a lasting artist. While he is not the best vocalist in the world his songwriting ability is excellent. His band is excellent! This album stacks up well with all his prior albums and he still show signs of growth with each new album. Though some of the songs sound like copies from previous work, his band and lyrical prose still manage to set the work apart.

I like all Kid Rock really, my wife and I have seen him in concert 3 times. I prefer his older first 3 albums, I like that sort of style much more than his newer stuff. This album is good though. It will appeal more to the mainstream fans he’s drawn in more recently. I really feel his older heavier rock & roll and hip hop rapping style of music that I had first come to know him by are much better albums, but this is a better album than the others he has recently written. I still give it a thumbs up.

I had low expectations for this. I dunno why. Maybe its the ridiculous album cover. I don't know. But I had really low expectations. The second I heard the lead single FIRST KISS....I knew I had to have this cd! I am soo glad I bought it!! This has been the album of my summer. Whenever I hear any songs from this cd it will remind me of SUMMER 2015. :)

If you go back to Kid Rock's origins as an old school rapper and watch his progression to adult contemporary rock which blends classic Southern Rock with almost hip-hop lyrics.. AND knowing he supports the military.. It is easy to give this entertainer a high review for his awesome music

Great that kid rock wasn't the one album wonder most people thought he'd be. This album stands up against his others while continuing in the classic rock with a little bit of country direction that his last few have taken. If you like 70's music with a bob seger feel, this is for you.

What is this? Where is the cussing? Well, you'll have to skip to the last track for it. This is a great album. People today feel that music isn't cool unless it's littered with "F" bombs. Could of done alright without the last track, but still a good song.
Another great album from the Kid, from the opening note to the final beat. You'll fall in love with Jenny Clayton with him, have beers with Dad, and learn what Jesus and Bocephus have in common. Worth every penny, and I can't wait for the concert.

I'm not a Kid Rock fan that goes back to his roots but have come to admire his diverse offerings and his incredible talent. Though I think Rock n Roll Jesus was his best album this is still a masterful collection and well worth purchasing.

This is my second purchase of a Kid Rock CD and I think this is another home run!! I like that this is more a rock and blues kind of offering just like his last CD Rock and Roll Jesus. Hard hitting and fun to listen to LOUDLY!!

The first time I listened to First Kiss, I was not impressed. However, after listening to it various times, it has really grown on me. Kid Rock's last few releases have not been very good. First Kiss should make Kid Rock relevant again.

Kid scores another great album with this one. Nice rock and roll songs that are easy to listen too. Not a big fan of rap, so this is a pleasant surprise. Even better than another good album by Kid "Rock N Roll Jesus" from 2007.

Any kid rock fan knows that most of his more recent stuff sounds alot like his previous CD.... which is one of the reasons we like kid rock. A far cry from his early stuff, and more of a southern rock vibe on this CD.

Kid Rock is all about singing southern rock these days. He still drops the F-bomb on occasion, but it's more about making songs that rock. A couple of tracks have country twang. Don't expect any rap tracks though.

Was waiting for a new album from Kid Rock and was pleasantly suprised by this one, little more of a country vibe. Still typical Kid Rock style, different for me still good though.

I really enjoyed Kid Rocks latest CD First Kiss. There are many songs that I have been blasting on my drive while commuting to work. Great music to get you in the mood for summer.

In a world that doesnt buy cd's, and artists dont make cd's packed with good music, the Kid stands out. The entire CD is Packed full of his particular brand of great music.

There's plenty of good songs on this album; it isn't his best work, but if you like his recent releases you shouldn't be disappointed. Just don't expect any rap hi hop mixes.
