Q: Can I use this device to track my son's location? If so, how far I can track?
A: Great question. Yes, the Ace LTE will let you find the location of your child’s Fitbit Ace LTE in the Fitbit Ace app once location sharing is enabled. What prevents the device from showing your child's location are the following: 1. Their watch is powered off. 2. Their watch has low or no GPS signal. 3. Their watch isn't connected to the internet. 4. Their watch has been off wrist for an extended period. Here’s a link with more details: https://support.google.com/fitbitacelte/answer/14949884?hl=en
A: Great question, KA. The Fitbit Ace LTE does not have its own phone number and doesn’t require a separate phone. All communication, including messages and calls, is handled exclusively through the Fitbit Ace app and operates via an LTE data plan. Parents manage this through the Ace app, which allows the device to communicate only with a pre-approved list of up to 20 contacts. Q: Is the watch wsterproof or water resistant?
A: Hey there. Fitbit Ace LTE is water resistant and splash proof, meaning it can handle some water exposure like rain, sweat, or a quick dip in a shallow pool. However, it's not completely waterproof.
A: Thanks for the inquiry, Nagarjun. No, you cannot use the Fitbit Ace LTE without an active Ace Pass subscription. The subscription is required to activate and set up the device, enabling LTE connectivity for calling, messaging, location sharing. Q: Does the watch track my childs sleep?
A: No, it doesn’t track sleep. Battery life isn’t the best so it’s best to charge overnight

A good starter watch for our kids but we weren’t aware that when it said it was compatible with IOS and Android that meant through its own app (thought texts would be sent right to messages). Maybe we just missed it in the description.

It’s great for the kids to be able to play the games. The kids need to walk that one thing that I like and they can only message or call the people that I put on his watch. I 100% recommend this watch.
