I've had this unit for about 15 months and have been totally satisfied with its performance. However, a few days ago the band broke away from the unit so is no longer wearable. I can drop it in a pocket and use it that way but this defeats the purpose of why I chose this series. It has also been through the wash cycle once; forgot it was in the pocket. I like to track my sleep cycles and heart rate so it is basically useless for that now. I've observed many others who have experienced the same problem; must be a defect in manufacturing. The warranty has passed. I rate this 4 stars because the unit itself has been great. My disappointment is only in its longevity issue. Note: all of the gunk depicted in the pic is dried glue. I pretty much knew it was futile but had to try anyway.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS WATCH!! This is my first fitness watch, I've been wanting one for so long! I've been using dieting and fitness aps for several years and felt that I wasn't getting the right results. With this fitbit and the app I can micromanage everything I do from my calorie intake, daily steps, stress management, menstrual cycles, sleeping habits, heart rate, daily calorie burn, and more! My favorite feature is being able to GPS track my hiking and running routes. It connects directly to my phone and shows my average heart rate, calories burned, cardio and fat burn minutes, inclines during hikes, as well as a map of my route. This watch has helped me lose weight and maintain my physical AND mental health. I will definitely be using this product for a long time into the future. You can even connect with other users and friends on the "fitbit community" section of the fitbit app, making it easy to keep up with challenges with friends and family. Very comfortable to sleep with, easy to change bands, and I charge it about every 4-7 days depending on how often I am exercising and using the gps feature.

This is the best tracker I have used, I bought this to monitor my heart beat and its so accurate that it was exact match to the numbers in a hospital machine that was hooked up to me. This design is so sleek it just looks like a band that I can put on my other hand when i want to wear my favorite watches.

I was debating between going all out with an Apple Watch or a Fitbit and I’m glad i chose this product. I just want the basics of my steps and heart rate and to track my sleep. This gives me what I need. The difference with the charge 3 is this has Spotify connectivity but honestly it’s garbage and you may as well just listen on your phone. But again if you just want the basics this is free at and connects well with Fitbit app.

With this Fitbit I am able to track my sleep, my motion/steps/exercise, and my calories. It’s fantastic to help with personal accountability. You can input your own exercise events (and get credit for the calories burned), search thousands of foods & name brands, and understand your heart rate daily. Great purchase!

Had to replace my Fitbit blaze and chose this one. Took a minute to get all the features to work but a quick update and all is well. Nice watch.

Love my Fitbit Charge 4! Reminders to get walking are nice. I really like not having to pull my phone out of my pocket for every call or text. I can check my Fitbit and decide if it’s something I need to deal with right away. I got the “special edition “ band; I think it looks nicer than the regular plastic band.

Its a great watch overall and I love that I can swim and shower with it on. It also allows you to do challenges with friends or even random people. Only thing I miss is having a choice of watch faces. I haven't seen any that can be downloaded besides the 4-5 pre-installed. Other than that its a good activity tracker.

I purchased this to upgrade from the previous Charge version and it is well worth it. The "extras" add up to make it a perfect upgrade. I don't need a ton of bells and whistles, but I like just enough to make exercise easier. The ability to control Spotify with my Fitbit is awesome! The ability to change the face of the device so I see what is important to me is great. I love the sleep feedback. I could hook up messaging if I wanted to but I don't want to go that far. My fitbit time is mine and I don't want it ruined with the outside world. I also love the clasp.

Fitbit Charger 4 does help he monitor my daily steps, heart rate and adds Zone Minutes. For beginners it should be a perfect fit into your lifestyle and Fitbit Charger 4 should be worn while sleeping because it will continue to track your heart rate.

I love the addition of GPS to the Fitbit. It was fairly easy to set up and now I have no problem. I haven't had any other tracker but will stick to Fitbit for any future needs. Also, I love all of my Fitbit 3 bands are compatible with the Fitbit 4. I change the band frequently. It's not just a tracker it's a watch/piece of jewelry. Thank you. Stephanie

I had the Charge 3 for almost three years before it konked out. Apparently, these devices do not last that long. Otherwise, I would give it a higher score. I replaced it with the Charge 4 instead of the more sleek-looking Fitbit mainly because the Charge 4 has a 7-day battery, and the other only 5 days. That makes a difference to me since I often travel for a week at a time. I use two functions DAILY the time: the sleep tracker and the exercise tracker. I really like to track my heart rate while working out so I can make sure I'm in "cardio" or "peak". The sleep tracker also helped me to realize that I need more hours sleeping since I am awake for about an hour every night during my sleep. I have not used the GPS function yet. (I'm wondering if it will help someone find me if I'm lost hiking in the hills?)

I purchased this Charge 4 to replace my Charge 2. Battery life is a little better than Charge 2. One charge can last 7-8 days without using the built-in GPS. Functionality wise, not many changes, so it is easy to use.

I really like it. This is my first Fitbit and I'm really enjoying the experience. If I could give half star, I'd give it a 4.5. Sometimes my notifications will stop coming to my Fitbit or when I turn my wrist, it will not light up. It's only happened a few times, but I'm hoping it doesn't get worse. But as of now, I'm still very happy with it!

I love my Fitbit Charge 4, this makes my 3rd Fitbit watch, but they have all been the Charge watch. I enjoy going to the gym and setting it to track my exercises by syncing to my Apple phone. It gives me a feel good feeling about myself and at 72 years old, we need all the help we can get in that department! :-) The watchband, because of the size of it would not read out on my wrist, I think it was because it was stiff. With my small wrist, it is almost as wide on the top side as my wrist so when it fastened in the back, it held it up a bit from my arm. I changed out the wristband to one that was more flexible, now I have no problems.

I love this tracker. I didn't want anything bulky or supersmart. This is a simple tracker that lets you recount all your physical activity. No GPS, but that's ok. It originally comes with two wrist band sizes which is perfect for any size. You also can read text messages on it and vibrates really strongly when incoming calls which I love when it's on ring mute. Battery lasts a decent amount of days.
