i bought a startmestick for my granddaughter who is taking online classes. she complained the laptop she has wouldn't work very well but the main problem was no memory left to use so the startmestick hasn't been used.

I bought this thinking that I could use it to repair a faulty Windows PC. Unfortunately, that was not possible. It does boot up your PC, but you cannot access the hard drives. Basically it lets you have a temporary PC to surf the net or do a few very basic things. No saving your work, no printing, not much else. If you need to look something up on a friend's PC, it works, but no real work to speak of.

Tried using it and it didn’t do what it was meant to do. Don’t waist your money.

This Fix me stick combo did not work on either my Windows Lenovo laptop or my Mac mini desktop. Total waste of money. On the Mac Mini my wireless key board & wireless mouse got disabled. I was able to work with the Fix Me Stick with a cabled mouse, but it's been years since I've had a wired Apple keyboard - so I was stuck. On my Windows Lenovo - it did not work automatically and banner message said I had to make System changes to enable it. Best Buy put the Windows version on sale. Best Buy should not try to sell it at all.
