Fleddy Melculy - De Kerk Van Melculy - VINYL LP

The Jubilee Quartet follow their critically acclaimed debut album of Haydn with two contrasting quartets by Schubert. The sunny and joyful D.87, his 10th quartet dates from his 16th year. Already the singing quality of the writing is apparent. The late G major quartet, the composer's 15th and final quartet dates from 1826. The emotions here are extreme - dramatic, violent, painful, menacing, introverted and innocent. Written on a large scale, this work is a groundbreaking masterpiece that stands shoulder to shoulder with the late Beethoven quartets.

When Fleddy Melculy had an instant hit in early 2016 with their 1st single 'T-shirt from Metallica' it seemed for a moment that they were just one new joking and gurgling one-hit wonder, but with all the internet hype, and after signing with a major tag like Sony, and especially the debut album Helgie made it clear that it was a band that people should take seriously. What followed was a run of sold-out club shows and festivals in the Benelux, starting with 2 shows in 2017 at the Eurosonic Noorderslag showcase festival in Groningen. With influences from thrash, metalcore, punk and rap, the band managed to literally demolished stage after stage and confirmed their very strong live reputation. The singles 'Party In Your House', 'Pinker', 'T-shirt from Metallica' all became hits in Studio Brussels. Helgie is available as a limited edition of 500 individually numbered copies on gold colored vinyl and includes a mini poster with lyrics. Official website Fleddymelculy.
