Food Wars! The Fifth Plate - BLU-RAY

The ultimate Regimental Food War continues as the culinary rebels led by Soma and the members of Kyokusei square off against epicurean elitist Azami and the Totsuki Ten. At stake - the future of dining across Japan. Because if the rebels fail, Azami intends to impose his own tastes and techniques on the entire restaurant industry! But the fine dining control freak has made a serious mistake in threatening the futures of Soma's friends and family, as while the rebels may seem less experienced overall, this is ultimately a clash of skill, dedication, and, most of all, taste. That may be a recipe for disaster for the seasoned veterans! There are truffled times ahead, and it's anyone's guess as to whose goose will ultimately be cooked in the mind-roasting season long battle that is FOOD WARS! THE FOURTH PLATE!

To the astonishment of his peers and the dismay of the elitist food snobs who dominate Totsuki Culinary Academy, former diner cook Soma Yukihira has sliced, diced, and perfectly spiced his way through the first round of culinary competitions known as the Fall Elections. But will his customer pleasing skills and ability to think outside the bento box lead him to victory against the flavor-enhancing chemical warfare of the Academy director's granddaughter? And which of the other contenders will advance in their own march for the gold? The Judges' verdicts await in the heaping second seasoned helping of FOOD WARS!

Ever since he was little, Soma Yukihira's main goals have been to beat his father in a cooking contest and take over the family diner. That's why, when his dad suddenly announces that he's shutting the restaurant down and sending Soma to cooking school, Soma is shocked. However, Tohtsuki Academy is no ordinary cooking school. This elite institution filled with culinary giants like Erina InchGod TongueInch Nakiri, who does her best to keep a lowly short-order like Soma from even making it inside the door. However, if the snobs can dish it out, Soma can serve it up, and when he learns that only a handful of the students manage to graduate every year, he swears that the only way he'll leave is as number one in FOOD WARS!
