    • Description: Forget the Rush is the long-awaited debut full-length from FlyPaper, the solo project of London based singer-songwriter Rory Sear, arriving after two acclaimed EPs via Stockholm based indie tag PNKSLM Recordings (ShitKid, Clutter, 7ebra etc). After coming up as the frontman of Brighton indie rockers Beachtape, FlyPaper came to be after Sears relocated to London and started self-recording at home, taking inspiration from songwriting greats such as Randy Newman and Elliott Smith. After releasing two acclaimed self-recorded EPs, big nada and another orbit, Forget the Rush finds FlyPaper delivering on the promise of those early recordings with a more fleshed out sound that retains the intimacy of his early work while letting his songwriting chops and melodies come to the forefront.
