Political Journalist isn't a credential usually in musician's bios, but this is exactly what Anika was doing while living between Berlin and Bristol earlier this year when she met Geoff Barrow. The producer was looking for a new singer to work with his band Beak , and it was immediately clear they shared the same musical vision, including a love of punk, dub and 60s girl groups. Just a week later Anika and Beak (Barrow, Billy Fuller and Matt Williams) went into the studio to begin recording material. The resulting album was recorded in twelve days, live, with the four together in one room. Dub with no overdubs. The collaboration is political, trashy, dub, punk, funk... a cohesive sound, and experience in uneasy listening. In the tradition of short lived but deeply influential 99 Records and the NYC's 80s No Wave nexus, the nine songs on Anika run the gamut from experimental rock (InchYang YangInch, InchOfficer OfficerInch) to covers of folk (InchMasters of WarInch) and pop songs (InchTerryInch, InchI Go to SleepInch), while showcasing reverb-drenched ancient drum machine rhythms. Album Tracks 1. Terry 2. Yang Yang 3. End of the World 4. Masters of War 5. Officer Officer 6. Sadness Hides the Sun 7. No-One's There 8. I Go to Sleep 9. Masters of War (Dub)

Limited vinyl LP pressing includes 12 x 12 insert. Pinkerton is the second studio album by band Weezer, released on September 24, 1996. After abandoning plans for a rock opera titled Songs from the Black Hole, Weezer recorded Pinkerton between songwriter Rivers Cuomo's terms at Harvard University, where he wrote much of the album. To better capture their live sound, Weezer produced Pinkerton themselves, creating a darker, more abrasive album than their 1994 self-titled debut. Cuomo's lyrics express disillusionment with the rock lifestyle; the album is named after the character BF Pinkerton from Giacomo Puccini's 1904 opera Madama Butterfly, whom Cuomo described as an Inchasshole American sailor similar to a touring rock starInch. Like the opera, the album contains references to Japanese culture. Album Tracks 1. Tired of S*x 3 01 2. Getchoo 2 52 3. No Other One 3 01 4. Why Bother? 2 08 5. Across the Sea 4 32 1. The Good Life 4 17 2. El Scorcho 4 03 3. Pink Triangle 3 58 4. Falling for You 3 47 5. Butterfly 2 53

SZNZ Autumn, the third part in Weezer's four-EP song cycle, continues the narrative started on SZNZ Spring and SZNZ Summer bringing Pagan myths, Shakespeare, Catholic rituals, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and more to life. Each SZNZ EP offers it's own palette of colors, creatures, and emotions to explore. They're also being created in real time, made in tandem with the season themselves. Once they've all been released, however, the EPs will create an incredible collection of some of Weezer's best songs yet, which is no small feat for a band that never leaves the Zeitgeist. Album Tracks 1. Can't Dance, Don't Ask Me 2. Get Off on the Pain 3. What Happens After You? 4. Francesca 5. Should She Stay or Should She Go 6. The Way I Hate You Now 7. Tastes Like Pain 8. Run, Raven, Run
